Have you got any stats on how many people become infected in open air parks?

Do you know if the groups of people you saw in the pictures were or weren't from the same household?

If They weren't' from the same house, can you tell from the pictures you were sent if they were or were not 2 metres apart?

What sports were they playing?
Are the people playing the sports from the same household?

If not, are they two metres apart?
For example if they are playing tennis what are the stats on them being infected through a tennis ball being hit by a Racquet?

So much wrong with your post without these contexts, but you are not going to give them are you?
Why? Because how can you tell from a picture you were sent?

I don't want to be a negative nelly but with the increase in ICU, high fatalities and increases in positive cases while still tests and results are delayed it is hard to be upbeat and positive, everyone take care

It is indeed very sad, heard the deceased aren’t even being embalmed don’t know why but wonder if it’s considered that they are infectious after death which seems like even a terrible question to ask ( but if they did not have covid are they being embalmed) only an undertaker would know the answer to this I suppose or maybe there are hse guidelines on their website.Proper funerals are supposed to take place after this has ended, Not terribly comforting to the grieving families though.

It's good advice, and not just for that one poster. I see U2 donated €10m for PPE. They (particulary Bono) got alot of jibes earlier in the thread, I hope the same lads will be as quick to come out and say fair play. Thats a significant donation regardless of their wealth.

There will be no hard news regarding restrictions until after Easter weekend. Give an inch this side of Easter and people would take a mile. It won't go on forever.

This is a dumb comparison. Firstly, at the start of the year, Slovakia is not an extremely popular to how cold it is. Ireland is constant in it's toursits. Secondly, Ireland has an extremely populated capital. Bratislava does not have this issue. Finally, Irish people go on holiday to Italy during the winter months a lot more than Slovakian people would. All of those combined have led to us being way higher and Slovakia being way lower.

Look at all the countries in the top 10, they would mostly all be extremely popular all year round tourist destinations. That's led to an increase. Also, a lot of them have foreign students doing study abroad, or Irish students coming back from other countries they were studying in when the virus started to get bad but before we went into lockdown. Lots of reasons as to why a country like Ireland has it worse than Slovakia. Comparing population size and country size has no bearing on a disease transmitted by humans.

Studied 175 people who recovered from Covid. From the mild cohort.
Found 30% had very low antibodies. 10% almost none. Antibodies less in younger. Increase in older people. May have significance for vaccine and herd immunity ideas. Needs further research. A lot.
