Reversal? We've never had a day full of unbroken sunshine in the West during this spell, it's always been cloudy early on, not clearing until midday at earliest.

Always before 10 out here when it clears.

Just been out and the most varied sky ever. look one way and blue sky; look the other and ominous clouds, and a strong wind scattering them.

Guys, is the wind thing just in Cork or nationally? Was 26c in much of the county today but loudest winds since Ophelia. Even now I can hear a howling wind even though I'm in an A rated house where you hear wind twice a year usually. Was the wind forecast?

Fierce wind in Leitrim yesterday. Took the edge of the temperature.

A lot of cloud cover this morning in Castlebar, but still 18.6C.

It's very overcast and humid in Cork City. No sign of any sun and still rather breezy.

AGHHHHHHH! Make it stop (tomorrow it stops!) Horrible clammy conditions. Overcast, warm breeze appalling. Probably only about 22 degrees though :D

21° Here in Laois this morning but again it’s windy so doesn’t feel like 21. Warmer than yesterday already. If Only this wind would let up a little.

Overcast in Waterford City as Sat image would suggest. Temp 17.3c. I’m not holding out much hope of seeing much sun today especially looking South and that bank of cloud out at sea.

Well that one day heatwave was nice while it lasted. Most dull, grey, depressing day in Cork City for a while

Without burnoff, the satellite suggests a possibly grim picture for the rest of the day, even for those further east. There is a lot of cloud looking to move up the country. Quickly making its way up as far as N.Wexford E.Coast wise.

Big difference in temps this morning in Cork City with the cloud cover. There was a very light mist earlier on when I opened the back door. Wonder will we get a downpour or two :-)

Finally a proper summer's day here in Meath without any chill and most importantly the 20C barrier has finally broken for the first time this summer! making today the warmest day since May 29th and Easter Sunday's temperature of 22C looks under threat at long last! Currently 21C here at Dunshaughlin.

Sunny and warmer today on the Dublin coast with a slight haze. Looks like the cloud will take over sometime in the afternoon. Hoping for a rumble or two tomorrow before the warmer air leaves us.
