Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Killer and Conway want those seats on the plane.

Great from Kilcoyne, Carty and Conway there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,814 ✭✭✭✭bilston

    Ahhh great stuff.

Firstly brilliant take from Addison, making up for the earlier mistake.

    Great burst from Kilcoyne.

Carty oozed class, talk about time in the ball, great line by Conway, could have given it to Farrell, gave it to Stockdale, sure he needed the try for his confidence.

    Top class by Conway there.

Conan is everywhere. Having a massive game so far.

Stockdale with short back and sides > Stockdale with long back and sides

Nice kick from Carty for icing on the cake.

That came very close to Farrell messing that all up.

Think Ryan and Conan add so much to the pack

Defence much sharper this week. Some excellent tackles.

That was a wonderful start by Ireland. If they do more of this for the rest of the match. I would say that thinking of places for new players on the seats for Japan is a very real possibility today if they keep this up. Joe is doing good here with his tactics so far but I don't know how Wales will respond to Ireland's progress as we go through the later stages of it.

Feel bad for last week's players. Wales arent even at 10% of the speed and aggression England played at.

Much easier for this Irish team to play against and they're looking leagues more organised, sharp and dangerous because of it.

    Quite content with this performance

Reckon Joe must of gave the whole squad a massive bollocking during the week

Yeah what was he thinking running a support line to a player on the break. Tut tut.

    This is a fair point.

    There maybe something in this.

Last week's XV broadly new they were all going to Japan. The same can't be said for many of this week's side. In terms of motivation that may be a bit of a factor

Completely different levels of intensity today but the players look a lot sharper all the same

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,617 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

Conan very quiet, Carthys tackling is excellent, Aki doing a lot of work, Addison having a rusty start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Can't see Larmour making the plane.

Addison, Conway and Farrell are all competing with him for only one or two spots.

You'd have to think Jordan Larmour is getting nervous watching this.

Or they’ve had a normal week of match preparation rather than having just returned from a preseason beasting camp

You might want to watch the game to be honest.

    That'll sting Wales.

    Very cheap try.

Holy ****. 2 tries for Stockdale. Wow.

After the Welsh nerves at the posts. We will take that.

    Anti-Samson scores again!

    Kilcoyne looking very good.

    Haircut working wonders for stockdale

    Stockdale has some engine

Wales miles in from the side at the previous ruck. Justice served!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,814 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Stockdale is the Kevin Keegan Newcastle of Rugby. Concedes two, scores six.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Linespeed in defence making huge difference.

    Very poor there.....

This is a very different Ireland in both respects and this experimental Wales team are a million miles off a full-bore England.

However, those one-on-ones for seats on the plane are already crystallising remarkably.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Wales have no attacking structure. They were targeting the 10 channel earlier, now they seem to be trying to swing it outside before it dies at 13.

I have no idea what their plan is.

No expert but we’re cutting them up. Wales are scrambling in the chase

Is there a mad genius plan here
