    Lovely car that Alfa.

With so much sentimental attachment you can never sell it! Good job it’s a timeless design. Well wear.

That will probably be the most sentimental car posted here.
I hope she serves you, George and his family well.
    Well done to you.

Cheers, I haven’t really been active on Boards for a long time - I obviously must know who you are, or close to eh?

Really lovely story. Sorry to hear of the death but the car will be something to always remember him by and you should also have a bit of fun with it.

I chatted to him a few times but never had the pleasure of face to face.
I was part of the Irish section on alfaowner years ago.
He was mad for his alfas.

Not my car as such, but it was mine for a 6 hour cruise through the mountain passes around the Mount Fuji region of Japan.

Never realised how capable these little cars are. I was up against an R32 GT-R, R34 GT-R, EVO 6 TME and a GC8 Impreza STI - no problem keeping up in the corners. The straights were a different story.

Would be tempted to buy one of these if the prices weren't gone so crazy.

Cool. What are they like to drive?

Got skinned by one once at lights in town while driving a mk5 GTI with dsg. They're surprisingly quick.

Yep, they're not slow. IIRC seven odd seconds to 60mph/100kph. From rest they're very rapid up to 50kph. Electric is great for that. Of all the leccy cars around today, it would be the one I'd like TBH(including Tesla). Quirky looking too, which I like.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
