Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So, I was thinking this may be a fun thread. I'll put up a photo of an animal's skull and whoever identifies it correctly gets to post the next photo and so on, what say you?

    Don't want to be a constant sour puss on this forum but perhaps some ground rules?

    Try and supply a scale, and a clue whether the animal is extinct or not. Actually, may not really be needed.

    I think stoneil's is a Australopithecus afarensis skull but i'm only guessing (google searching hominid skulls).

    I would have guessed paranthropus, maybe a smaller variety than boisei. Possibly Homo georgicus. Is it an extinct animal?

    You only get to post a picture when you're the one who has correctly guessed the last picture AND the one who posted the pic has confirmed it.
    Otherwise it'll be a MADHOUSE! :D
