    my friend who has no science back ground, certainly no zoological training got this in 20 minutes...

    Well then im sure the answer will be a common enough animal. Common in the media anyway.

    This is a replica of the skull, it is accurate though (afaik).

    That's agiant panda. I didn't specify which one ;) once upon a tome they were considered related. It's still called a red panda though :)

    hi guys, just had a little message about the pictures.

    If you just copy and paste the link to the picture hosted on the web where the skull came from people can just find out what the picture is by looking up the website.

    So if you want to prevent that, please save the image do your computer, edit it a bit, and reupload it somewhere, e.g. imageshack.
