Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Smirnoff, morgans, gordons regular and gordons pink were 2x1L for 40 mix & match in tesco. Not showing online. The shelf label said it finishes today and online shows it is a new offer of 26euro for most of them tomorrow.

The 10/45 vouchers I got with receipts are not valid until tomorrow, so good deals will be gone. I still have 10/50 so am better off using today, even though it is effectively 20% off instead of 22% (10/45).

Beers still 20euro but not showing online, and not certain but I think that might finish today too.

So could you buy buy 5 bottles of spirits for 100e in store and get 20 off, so were 1litre bottles of smirnoff coming in at 16e each?

Can't really argue with a fiver a bottle?

Brilliant, thanks for that. I'll check it out tomorrow

In tesco 700ml ketel one vodka is 25

you had to buy 2 bottles for 40, so you cannot get 5 all at the discounted price. So if I wanted to get 100 I would have got 4 bottles for 80 and a tray of grolsch or guinness for 20.

I used another 10/50 voucher just now and got another 2x10/45 ones. That is all 3 times now that I got double vouchers. I heard another woman saying to her husband she got 1. No idea why they give me 2, esp. as they are probably making a loss on what I get!

I think they just wanted to know they could get €20 off €100 spend rather than the mix and match deal you mentioned
Some people are new to the vouchers and are unsure on the best way to use them, this time last year I was using a voucher to buy a €50 Tesco gift card and going straight back in with the gift card and another voucher for cheap booze but sadly they clocked onto that

It’s a lottery when you get there as-well! Just in Tesco looking for two bottles of pink gin for 40 quid (present..... not really! It’s very tasty) and not a bottle to be seen.

    No asda in Ireland.
And it’s a matter of opinion. I like it. Nice with a bbq burger, but you would only have a couple

I looked for this, it is 38.

Are you sure you saw 30?

    Maybe web only?

I checked my local Tesco store for Black Barrel again.

One shelf has a yellow sticker: 38 until a date in Nov

Another shelf has a yellow sticker: 30 until 9-Dec.

You can only go through checkout after 12:30, but I have put alcohol in my trolly well before that time in the past.

Has anyone used the 10 off 45 vouchers with the 12 off 60 that they got in clubcard in tesco? Girl at till last night said it was possible.

That would mean I could get 3 slabs at 20 eur each and get 22 euro off which is 72 beers for 38 euro. Seems too good to be true

I got two co-dated 10 off 45 which should stack to 20 off 90; bit lower than having to hit 105

Any decent wine deals going ? Just seems like the usuals in the majors.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

I did a small shop in Tesco with 2 slabs of Guinness and forgot to hand in my voucher, it only dawned on me after the girl at the till had put it through she handed me my receipt and I said s*it I forgot that I have a voucher she said there was nothing she could do, I was raging with myself so I decided to take myself down to customer service with a sad face I asked if anything could be done. The girl scanned my voucher no problem glanced at my receipt and handed me €10 cash HAPPY DAYS :)

Anyone know anywhere that does a decent relatively inexpensive cava? It's all prosecco these days usually.

Good value as it's unusual to get a pale ale at that price.

the yellow labels in my tesco said today, i.e. should still be on today.

On the tesco website it says 20 and does not declare it as being an offer, so has no end date.

They were selling very poorly in my place so it would not surprise me if it gets extended.
