Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I got this working using the AIB card I had stored on my profile already. I wouldn't accept my Revolut card, real or virtual.

    Done exactly this at the end of last month so wondering the same. Guess I'll find out in about 3 weeks time!

    Just to update that once the gift card expired yesterday it took the payment from my Revolut car which I had been paying with in Ireland. Might be worth a try for those who had the same issue when trying to renew in Turkey.

    I added my Revolut virtual card as a second payment method, the preferred payment is still my AIB card.

    I cancelled my sub which expires over the weekend. Will see what happens when I try to renew via VPN to Argentina.

    Created new Revolut virtual card and tried to add with it no vpn on as back up card and still got the same error message, very frustrating. At the moment I have no card on it as it won’t accept any of my cards so I bought a few gift cards so paid up until September.

    Exactly the same for me, same old frustrating error on the newly created revolut virtual card...

    I travelled to Argentina (don't worry, I virtually quarrantined) and it worked for me using Revolut today.
    It worked out at about €5.90 before tax - close to €10 after tax.

    Was just about to reactivate my account through turkey but noticed this bit Only people who live with you may use your account. Watch on 4 different devices at the same time with Premium, 2 with Standard and 1 with Basic.
    Has this always been the case, I assumed the same account could be used in different locations?

    I had a sub with a Turkish Giftcard with no card attached. Sub expired and i cancelled it. Used a VPN incognito and the first time it asked me for a Turkish phone number despite my Irish number attached, since then i keep getting the usual error about something going wrong with the card. I reckon I've blocked the account because of the failed attempts. Anyone any ideas? I'll try again tomorrow and see

    Maybe setup a new Austrian account with another email for a free month trial and then try to move that account to turkey?

    Maybe. When I restarted the membership the only option was my preferred payment method.

    What do you see when you try to restart the membership? Your preferred method should be available.

    When I click restart, gives some the 3 site options, then next page is to confirm payment with my card saved (revolut) can only change cards can't add a second

    You can add it later when you complete restarting your membership

    Yeah tried to renew with vpn (surfshark) with turkey/Argentina but no luck just kept getting card issue

    Ok, thanks a lot for that. So when you added this to the Turkish Netflix account, it never asked for any other payment details, such as credit card/Revolut, did it? That's where I was getting stuck, it wasn't accepting my card, but this gift card idea might be a great start. Thanks again

    Changed to mexico from argentina last night..Had cancelled and left it run out.. Used Hola VPN on phone, turned off location and wifi, renewed in a few minutes using existing Revolut (mastercard) for payment

    express vpn don't have a physical server in Turkey , subscribed to proton vpn for a month , my sub runs out tomorrow so hopefully the transfer will go without a hitch .

    Yes, Hola was free. I wouldn't know about any risks, I just downloaded it, used it for about 5mins and uninstalled it

    My Revolut card is about 2-3 years old, not sure if that makes a difference.

    Tried all the above to no avail. last thing to do is change from revolut to aib debit card for the first payement and log on that way.

    My Irish month finished but had an issue with updating my card. Now it seems none of my cards are being accepted be it on the Irish or Turkey site.

    there's a digital tax in Argentina which brings the monthly 4 screen price to over 10 euro while the price from turkey is around the 5-6 euro mark depending on currency exchange rates .

    Library isn't equated to sign-up country, you can use a VPN and get that country's library easily

    FINALLY got this to work! After multiple failed attempts with my physical Revolut Visa card, I applied for a Curve card and was able to use that successfully this time around. My VPN was fine all along. Set region to Turkey and was charged 4.01 EUR.

    Got denied payment this morning, Netflix asking to update payment details. Nothing wrong with the card, tried another revolut card, refused as well.

    Anyone else?

    Its revolut.

    Revolut made some changes with virtual cards and converted them to debit cards which changes the nature of them.

    Theyve done this without consent and Ive got the "sorry about that, we did it with our customers best interest in mind" :mad::mad:

    Netflix have this on their payment options so it could well be that they dont accept virtual debit cards.

    Virtual Cards

    We accept virtual cards in select markets. If your virtual card is declined, please choose a different payment method."

    Revolut chat support offered to either create a new card or "unterminate" my existing virtual one which Ive opted for. I'll see how this goes.

    Netflix said to leave it 4 hours before trying again.

    Don't forget if all else fails netflix vouchers work perfectly. Slightly more expensive

    small further update. I got a different rev support guy on he said all users were told about this change via email. Sure enough buried amongst a million other mails I dont read, there it is saying virtual cards will stop working after 19 may so as your service providor (for me its netflix/youtube/prime) goes to take the next payment, expect them to start failing.

    There is a new debit card in my cards now. Im going to try that with Netflix later on. Netflix chat support pretty good.
