Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In Dublin in the pissing rain unfortunately. Reports from family.

It was always going to be rain in Dublin, Meath and eastern coastal areas, too much of an onshore wind as usual keeping temperatures on the wrong side of marginal.

It's pivoting, and then should move back south, so not sure will get the cold air to Dublin.

    Athy!

Very similar to the Dec 2017 event in the little area covering S.Kildare/N.Carlow and some of Laois leading the pack.

Not sure if this has been shared before, but I do quite like seeing an Irish map of weather stations where you can see the temperature difference between towns/counties. Netatmo have one here: https://weathermap.netatmo.com/

Looking forward to some lamp post watching later in Blessington @ 200m asl.

Rain and sleet in Durrow - the front pushed around ten miles too far north of us to tap into the snow further north and east across Laois. However, the breeze has just backed to the northeast in the last few minutes.

Temperatures dropped to 2.2c with sleet/rain from 2pm to 4pm. The rain/sleet eased off and temperatures rose to 2.9c, now that the wind has backed NE the temperatures are dropping, back to 2.2c now again and as the precip returns a high chance of snow for the southwestern part of Laois (lower-lying areas below 150m)

Not much on the Comeragh Mountains Waterford. Bitterly cold, low cloud and a wind that would cut you in 2. When leaving it was starting to snow again but more of a grit than the night big flakes

312masl near Roundwood. Lashed rain all afternoon with a (very) few icy flakes mixed in. Currently dry. No proper stats to give you though I'm afraid.

Wondering if we get a smattering later if the front pivots and comes back at us.
