The presidential basement dweller thinks it caused the Miami apartment complex to collapse...Lets jump to conclusions there Joe,and not bother waiting for FEMA or anyone else to issue their reports on what happened. But then again he belongs to the Obama school of never letting a good crisis go to waste.

I dunno whats going on tbh, it cannot go on like this i reckon. Shortages in the shops, sellers in the UK, europe and elsewhere not wanting to know us. Tried to buy a pair of shoes earlier in the week, and was told by the assistant that are getting in very little, not what they order, no regular deliveries etc. A woman in Dealz told me the same

Everything is more expensive, and will now get even more so. Mehole would want to get his overpaid backside on a plane to Brussels and get it sorted out.

The eu is the land of milk and honey to the political class here though. Fcuk up or become unpopular in Ireland and you can get a cushy number over there.

Plenty of staff laid on for you, if you cannot read or write. A nice shiny Merc under your fat aris, long lazy lunches with plenty of wine, and a whopper of a salary with other perks.

Remember Phil "The bull" Hogan, he of Irish water fame. Where is he now ? An eu commissioner is where he is, and on 400k a year. QED.

    Really?

He must be delighted they reinstated him and kept it so low profile.

I am fairly certain thanks to golfgate that Phil Hogan fell on his sword over this one. No longer a commissioner. Probably a sizable pension we could only dream of though and plenty of time to golf.

It was only the biggest political scandal to hit this country in recent times that resulted in numerous high profile resignations.

Hard to imagine anyone being Irish and not being aware of it.

Never heard of that. If he is gone - good ! But he is hardly going to be signing on down at hatch 5 and scraping by week to week. He will be very comfortably off, despite being useless.

Anyway its not just him, there are dozens like him in this country.

There's no "if's" about it. It's a scandal of such proportions that it would have been hard to avoid unless you were in a coma.

Why would he be signing on at hatch 5 when he has worked hard all his life in well paying jobs?

The dole life isn't for everyone tuddertone.

Possibly bad photo but that glass of flat beer and burger don’t look too appealing.

You'd want a lot of photoshopping skills to make them look appetising alright.

Poor old grizzly (oops sorry grizzly thought that was your party food) is not a party animal anymore.

The original post was referring to Eu commissioner Hogan, which is not a position us voters get a voice in.

In reference to promises that politicians never keep. “How’s that border wall that Trump was going to make the Mexicans pay for”

Firstly, hot dogs look ok. That Faxe Danish beer is good. Lastly whoever did the mosaic tiling would they not have used a trim to finish it nicely. Forgive my OCD.

    Just on the beer, 10%!!!

I find at the 6% mark I can taste the alcohol which I don’t like. But each to their own.

I’d say you’re trying the wrong ones. There’s a few Belgian ones. Gulden draak. And others absolutely savage.

Does the fella with the 10% beer give the night drinking it or is he horsing them back as when you would be out on the lash?

I would think it’d be more akin to wine drinking pace?
