The small bottles of wine count to your 6 bottles, as do bottles of port. Sandemans 3star is currently €14 and with 25% off it is €10.50.

The small bottles are handy when you get a 2 for €5 deal which puts you up to €15 for 6 less 25% is €11.25 for 6 x 18.7cl bottles.

That would be quite handy to use for cooking.

But how? If making a nice lasagne or Bolognese, you put whatever amount of wine is required into the dish and then drink the rest of the bottle yourself. If you used one of those little bottles when cooking, you'll have nothing to drink. I'd never bother with lasagne or Bolognese again if that was the case. LOL

Tesco have slabs of Coors for €20.

Not much storage space left, considering this for overflow storage out back...

Just picked up 2 x 70cl bottles of Gordons gin for €28 in Lidl, also saw the same deal for Smirnoff red and I think Bushmills might be the same as well.

I'll give ya 3 slaps for a tenner and you don't need any voucher.

Anyone see any cheap Redbreast whiskey on their travels ? I won't make it north this year and don't want to pay 65 blips for it.

Are the vouchers in tesco the same as dunnes, 1 per 50 euro spend ?

    ardinn wrote: »

I said that to the guy on the phone but he was adamant it was one per spend. I told him I spent over 100 so both vouchers should work. I got my stuff delivered so have to wait and see will they reimburse me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,630 ✭✭✭OmegaGene

I think the person on the phone is mixing up the Tesco vouchers
There are two types in circulation at the moment
Club card related spend and save vouchers which are pre dated so they are used weekly, I have some here spend €80 save €16
Then there are the vouchers in the newspapers which are spend €50 and save €10 and on these vouchers it’s written that multiple vouchers can be used once your total spend exceeds the total on all vouchers
So spend €300 and you have 6 newspaper vouchers your covered to use them all.

    Online shopping just confuses everything

Hi, I'm trying to check out the drink deals in Dunnes (Bulmers specifically) as I have some vouchers, but I can't find any way of checking prices/offers on their website. It only seems to list clothes and homeware. Surely they have a grocery/drink website ??

Nope! No online sales \ site for food and drink. Just clothes & homeware.

There's probably an interesting business article that hasn't been written yet as to what the hold up is given that this one dates from early 2015:

If you can't get to NI, only option is use voucher, pay 50.

This seems good, 30 before voucher.

Spend 20 more on groceries, pay 40.

I ordered the normal Redbreast for £35 and the Lustau one for £41 from Amazon through Parcel Motel, others have commented on whether it'll be nabbed by customs, I'll know myself by Wednesday so the risk is yours to take!

Its a Hop house 13/Smithwicks type of drink. Watered down craft ale. Good if the price is right

Hop House and Smithwicks are two completely different drinks.

Probably means smithwicks pale ale which is similar to hophouse. Hophouse is branded a lager but is brewed with ale yeast.

I sauntered into my local Tesco last night armed with my money off vouchers/club card vouchers.

I left with 3 slabs of 24 pack cans, 2 Guinness and 1 Heineken.

On offer for 20 euro a tray, 60 euro in total, used a 12 euro off 50 spend and 3 euro clubcard voucher spend .

Left the shop having paid 45 euro for 3 slabs of cans, cheapest I have ever got them.

Delighted with myself, they will taste even sweeter at that price :D

That deal in Sainsburys looks very good.

I'm looking to buy 70 bottles of wine (again, wedding Sept 19). Is it worth stocking up now or will I bide my time?

I'm not sure if you can use the 25% back, in conjuction with the 10 off 50 voucher, in Tesco Ireland.

So, an 8 euro wine becomes roughly 4.80. Good offer!
