    Given this: https://galwaybayfm.ie/sports/sports-direct-comes-on-board-as-official-supporter-of-st-james-gaa-club/

My money is on some local GAA stars.

Possibly a soft-opening early next week.

    Odds on celeb opening personality:

    5/4 Joe Canning
    2/1 Bundee Aki
    5/1 Hector
    6/1 Marty Morrissey
    8/1 Daithi O Sé
    10/1 Mrs O Bumble
    12/1 Bar

They definitely won't spring for Joe's fee I'd say. Push him out in the book.

Pizza Max had its doors open yesterday, saw some youngsters on the path carrying what I presume were the components of their family meal from there.

Seems to be some excitement for PizzaMax from the number of mentions on this thread. What's their deal? Are they particularly good or cheap or what?

One poster mentioned it twice, hardly pandemonium?

It's in Upper Salthill where Canton Cottage used to be. It's part of a chain and appears to serve the usual takeaway offerings such as burgers, kebabs and pizzas.

I agree. Had a look at their menu, hardly exciting!

Unexciting imo, but nice to have a change in pizza supplier in the area and the dog is fascinated by it, so we end up standing outside it for ages in the mornings when he does his sniffaton walks.

That said I cant wait to taste their spicy chicken burgers.

Bradley motor works Dublin Rd,Wellpark, is empty, has it moved somewhere?

When I was driving past here today, I noticed the showroom now has the Kia car range inside the showroom. No external signage and all closed up still, but I presume it must be re-opening in some other car sales guise shortly.

Kenny's are the current Kia Dealer in Galway, unless they plan to seperate Kia to a seperate location.

New public toilets opening in Clifden next week (seriously).

Think it's going to be €3.50 a go but they are all mod cons with showers (and some sort of carpets by the looks of it) etc. They were being fitted out today.

I have my doubts but best of luck to the owner.

Also new seaweed baths opening in Clifden shortly.

Apparently so. I think you can buy a Leap Card type thing or something. I'll report back when it opens.
