Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Banger between RDA & Felder.

Can't believe how good Felder looks on 5 days notice. Fair play to him. RDA beat him well but this is a big win for Felder too. Not least in that this could be FOTN and he'll pocket an extra $50k

    Split decision :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,925 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

I'll call it now and say that the judge who gave that to felder made the worst call in ufc history
The look on Felders face though :D

One judge had it 48-47 for Felder?!!!!

I was rooting for Felder but RDA clearly won the fight.

I know its been suggested before, but upping the number of judges really makes sense. Even having 5 as opposed to 3 would surely cut down the number of whacky decisions we see.

That was hilarious. You have to love Felder, even if he is German.

I was rooting for Felder too but he lost every round clearly.

I wasn't scoring it non stop but I thought Hansen won that on first glance

Kenny Florian agreed with me :pac:

I was so sure Hansen won that fight i actually didnt bother watching the official decision and skipped ahead to the next fight lol.

So last night the same judge that gave Felder the win a couple of weeks ago gave John Allan the win over Roman Dolidze.
Dolidze won the fight, no doubt won all three round,s but in the mind of this joker he lost. How the guy got to judge another fight after going for Felder I don't know but surely he's done after last night.

Tuning in for early prelims now.

UFC Fight Pass now have Multi View where you can watch two live events on split screen, it's awesome. Only got the Fight Pass 24/7 channel to split with that has re runs but would be cool when two do clash.

Was a lovely submission. These are two heavy hitters up next. Always forget just how nice of a guy Wonderboy is till you see the Promos

Lord look at the size of Nchukwi, I thought this was a LHW fight and that'd still be a good cut!

Had liked Robertson here, but Santos way more aggressive and seems stronger so far

Great fight with pettis and morono there. Some resilience after losing the first rd too by pettis. Very fun fight to watch, that spin kick at the end would have been a great addition to the reel too!!

Some comeback by tybura after a bad first round

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Glad to see Hardy get pummelled there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,095 ✭✭✭hawaii501

Yeah he took about 6 or 7 shots in a row in that 1st round too. Although Hardy is shockingly bad on the ground so no surprise Tybura won as soon as he took him to the ground.

Super late stoppage there from Goddard. When the elbow connected that really should have been it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭The White Feather

That fight was a lot of fun!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,925 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Font looks good for a top 5 guy next, not sure where moraes goes from here, on the slide in a big way

Finally the potential fun fight of the year up next

    Khaos ko for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,891 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

Anyone else think that if Williams threw caution to the wind and just made it a street fight it would have been a different story ? I just think he was too cautious, a change of style that backfired..

Hard to say but possible, those kicks were hurting khaos and mp not a guy you can throw caution to the wind to, pretty frustrating fight for khaos with all the missing.
That damn takedown in rnd 3 looks like it just about gave mp the win

This is a fight neal really has to win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,891 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

I wanted to back Neal, but chickened out. Thompson looked good last time but it only takes 1 good strike and hes out. Too close for me to call.

  • Registered Users Posts: 103 ✭✭Jaded Walker

    Wonderboy is so entertaining.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,891 ✭✭✭SlowBlowin

I fancy Neal for rd 5 TKO.

Great fight to finish the year. Wonderboy was, well, wonderful. :)
Happy Christmas and wishing you all a great New Year.

Woman beater Hardy getting the **** beat out of him is the easy highlight of the night.

hopefully they let Lewis beat the living **** out of him befire he's cut.

not sure he's going anywhere short term and Lewis is too high up the pecking order now

His striking is improving all the time but zero ground game, hard to know who he'll get next
romanov, aspinall or maybe tuivasa possibly would be my guess and yeah was delighted with tyburas comeback win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,925 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

I see all judges gave williams the first and perreira the second round
I had assumed they had given it the other way round as i thought kw won
that second unless that 5 second choke made the difference

Pocket talk here also maybe having had kw backed to win and on points

He sure looked like he needed his inhaler towards the end of this fight...

    Marlon was #3!

DC really pisses me off. He doesn't know the basic rules. His biggest stupid comment at the last event was that a round was so even but the judges HAVE to give a round to someone! NO DC judges can give a drawn round, part of the problem is judges don't do this enough.

7 now and will more than likely be fighting lads ranked below him.

So the tiny tiny about of 10-10s means that DC and all those UFC judges just don’t understand the rules?

Never crossed your mind that maybe it’s you who doesn’t properly understand the very limited circumstances in which 10-10 is correct under UFC rules?

Sounds like he knows the rules but is realistic.

There should be more 10-10 rounds but they're never given.

He constantly gets the rules wrong. Not long ago he was spouting you get 5 min for an eye poke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,614 ✭✭✭Mehaffey1

Just over 20 minutes to the Prelims start for the Holloway v Kattar Card, didn't know they were going with an early start till I seen it online there now

Great first round to kick off the card.

Sometimes I think some of these women will never finish the other even if you gave them 10 rounds

    Good fight, she was impressive.

Super slugfest between the HWs as well! Banging like Holloway & Lamas at one point
