Got about half an inch of snow on the roofs and is just starting to stick on the ground here, 1.2C, feels raw out there compared to the balmy temps of late.:)

Shower hitting the Midlands now could be of snow?

Currently 3.9c with 1.1c dew points here, probably will just get sleet from this band of showers on the way.

If there is snow lying on my car later i think we will name it the Darkman2 snow!

Latest Met Radar doesn't look that bad actually, quite a band pushing across but it does usually die before hitting Dublin, Naas might be far enough west ye never know.

Almost continuous heavy hail here for the past while, really heavy stuff at the moment again! Lots of thunder about looking at the radar but haven't heard any here yet, hard to do so with the sound of the hail!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,550 ✭✭✭Min

It will probably snow here, got some in early December.

Current temperature: 1.6C with a dew point of -0.8C

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

We need to wish the temp down here, this band of showers is trying its best to stay alive :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,011 ✭✭✭John.Icy

    South Kildare: 2.2c (DP: 0.1)

    Fingers crossed...

The Howth weather station doesn't leave me too helpful anyway.

    4.1°C/1.4

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,129 ✭✭✭Wild Bill

zip(sorry no Met radar, i shouldnt have posted one either!)

It could make it across......but temp is 3.1C and dp 0.8C (I'm not sure what that implies but it seems too high all around!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,550 ✭✭✭Min

If anything it is intensifying as it moves across the country.

No hope in Waterford, even if the showers managed to swing this way, temp went down to 3.3c now gone back up to 4.1c with a DP of 1.7c:(
