Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know I'm unlikely to get much sympathy given the high numbers I've been posting lol
Is this level of reduction in generation normal? Only installed in late July so I don't have anything to compare to.
Compare a scorching day in early August to a scorching day in mid September.
August 8th - 35.8kWh - over 4kw for long spells, peaking at 5kw briefly.
September 18th - 23.4kWh - peaking at 3.6kw
Today - 17.6kWh so far
This is from 1pm today, sun directly overhead but the house array is only at 800w.
And now (6:30pm)
In August the house panels would be hitting full capacity of 3.8kw at times but they haven't passed 2kw in the last few days which have been roasting hot with clear skies.
Juat wondering if something is wrong if that's just normal with the change in angles of the sun etc. Seems like quite a significant drop.
Anyone else got comparisons for what they were hitting at peak then and now?0 -

On Friday the sun shine all day but my peak was 1.5kw(2.48kw system), yesterday was a duller morning and when the sun broke through I shoot up to over 2kw. With the sun shining on panels all day Friday, they were very hot to touch, i know panels are more efficiency at lower temps. I have noticed this a few times over the summer. The only times I have ever exceeded, my full instantaneous output has been on showery days, on long clear days peak always seems lower.0 -

A perfect curve but its looking like in Sept I can only generate a KWp of 40% of my total. I would expect (have not readings yet) 70-80% in the peak of summer as its a E/W split.
Has anyone have a solis inverter in the attic. I want to find out if 41 deg is hitting the de-rating of the inverter. I have headspace as I've only 2.5Kwp for a 3.6Kwp dual sting inverter

I have a solid inverter in attic on gable wall, insulation at ceiling. Was up during a good day in summer and it was unbearably hot, didn't measure temp. I have had that thought re inverter backing off as too hot. Can you get any temperature data from inverter.0 -

Likewise, mine is wall mounted in the attic. 5kw hybrid inverter.
