Dragging Artur by the end of rope, Thondar leaves the room and joins Aelrindel. Thonrat takes the lead and heads North, checking for dangers and using his infravision to scout ahead.
Thonrat heads forward his infravision picking out no sources of heat ahead, he can smell the walls change to sandstone though.

    Eventually he enters a chamber.

The sandstone walled chamber is once more full of similar mosaics, including one of a bunch of the Banduin leader caste. Few have been seen so far, taller than even the warriors at around ten feet though they have two hands. They lack magic and martial prowess, so many in the Alliance have wondered how they control the other Banduin.
A mural on the East wall depicts what they view as "dark" magic, namely Theomancy (OOC: What Clerics do), Vivimancy and Necromancy. A Magic-User from each school is shown as a demon of some kind performing an exagerrated version of their art, the Necromancer breaking into a Banduin grave is probably the most melodramatic.

"What we find here, snotser!" Farris grunts. "Unless you want to take on the next fight by yourself?"

'Pfft, me - fight? Thonrat, give this man a sapphire. There'll be more of them for you if you fight for me, friend. I did not amass my wealth by simply ignoring the...common folk.'

    Thondar grunts loudly.

On hearing this, Thonrat hands a sapphire to Farris and scuttles forward, dragging Artur along with him.

Together they approach the Necromancy shrine and throw Artur into the broken grave and wait to see what happens.

"I have not, but it sounds like a wild place where you can have a mansion and not pay tribute to the guverment."

Following along, Tana examines the picture of the leader, tracing around its head with one finger. Ristan looks at what the cleric is doing. Farris turns his sapphire over in his hands. Pip holds his sword, trying to get comfortable with it.

Artur wallops into the mosaic depiction of the grave and bangs his head, but nothing serious.

A few of the painted stones from the mosaic fall off, but the wall behind seems to be solid enough.

The leader is a serene figure in white robes, not smiling exactly, but looking content. A holy aura is depicted around him.

Ristan sees the Cleric is depicted as carrying various holy symbols from different religions, those of Zassan, Osinzir and others and consuming the soil of the Banduin's moon.

Thonrat grunts lightly to Thondar who looks behind him. Seeing Aelindrel has not appeared yet, he makes a light cut in Artur's rope. He grunts at him and threatens him with the dagger before examining the rest of the room.

He gets the smell of many gems, it's coming from every direction, but not quite in this room.

Artur wriggles to his feet and hops to the East wall, leaning up against the Mural. He sighs and prays to some God, any God to end his suffering.

A small click is heard and a door opens up in the North Wall.

Artur looks at Thondar who is still examining the room and Thonrat who looks deep in thought. He loosens his ropes and runs for the door.

Making it inside he enters a small metallic room. On the wall there is a device that as four wires with clamps that appear to go onto a warrior caste's four arms at the wrists and also a metal "hand" of some kind above the wires.

There are two stone passages leading out of the room, one going East and one going West. And the exit back to the Sandstone room to the South.

The hand snaps forward and grabs Artur's head. The pressure, being designed for a Banduin warrior is too much for poor Artur's skull. It cracks and his skull is reduced to pulp.

The headless corpse of Artur hits the ground loud enough to be heard by all.

Irwin say "that sounds like a kangaroo jumping away", he runs into the room.

Thondar and Thonrat rush into the room and see Artur. They grunt at each other and Thonrat runs back for Aelindrel.

'What, what do you want, you grunting fiend? Oh, ok I'll follow.'

Together they return to were Artur fell.

Pip watches everyone running in and out of the room and begins to sweat a lot. Except some of it might be pee.

Irwin is disappointed, "Its was only a body falling"

Irwin and the others find Artur's corpse and the remains of his skull in the device.

The hand-like device emits a bright light and then retracts back into the wall.

The other nerosians join irwin and they decide to check out the east stone passageway.

The East stone passageway leads to a set of limestone stairs going up.

Aelindrel kicks the lifeless corpse of Artur and allows his falcon to peck at the squashed skull while he looks around.

'Thondar, Thonrat - how did he get free? Don't you know these slaves are hard to come by?'

Thondar looks sheepish as Thonrat pushes forward, heading East. He checks the passage for danger and scouts ahead again with his infravision.

Irwin says, "Careful now on these stairs, they been known to jump out and bite you", he checks for traps and carefully ascends, followed by the others.

Thondar grunts at Irwin and also checks for traps, sticking with the Nerosian group.

'Thonrat - try the West passage, you never know what treasures may appear.'

Thonrat grunts and heads west, checking for danger and scouting.

They also reach the stairs quickly enough.

There are no problems on the way up.

The stairs lead out to small room with nothing in it, walls bare stone. However at the Northern end is an arch with writing on it. Oddly part of the writing is in Nerosian saying "Stable".

Through the arch they can see some sort of hay or grass on the floor.

Thondar makes it upstairs to the arch as well.

Thondar heads off and finds West passage meets another going North and South, each direction leading to a room.

Templeton instinctively walks through the arch.

The room through the arch is quite wide, basically circular in shape about a 150' across.
A bunch of Banduin Archonoids wander about picking at various bits of meat left on the grassy ground. The herbivorous Goluds stumble about as well munching on some grass.
Across the way, on the other side of the room are three doors with a red filament of energy covering them. More nearby, close to the arch they stand at, is a blue energy covered door.

    OOC:
Archonoids look like bugs from Starship Troopers:

    Goluds look like this:
