You wish. Why would he walk away? Whenever he's asked of the numbrr of semi finals or All Irelands he's won, he repestedly says he doesn't know how mamy he's won or lost. That should tell you he's looking back. He's looking to the future. He's retired. He's a hurling fanatic. He has no other interest in life.

Hes a fantastic manager and a great man for Kilkenny hurling. A nice fella outside of hurling too.

Donal Og Cusack's dislike, to put it mildly, of Kilkenny is common knowledge. He can't get over 2006, bless him!!!!

The bitterness pours out of him from every pore. And he’s a rubbish monotonous commentator as well. No idea why rte have him on

He's stuck in everything cultivating this image of himself as some sort of guru. Involved in this 11 a side concept. Painting himself as some sort of dapper forward thinking modern hurling exponent.

So far all I've seen is someone with questionable fashion sense talking waffle half the time.

    Buckley should have walked.

Well done to KK yesterday. I thought Limerick played into their hands trying to make a physical contest out of it and dropping too many players back. KK were well on top for most of the game and probably should have won by more. The ref was terrible and I felt wasn't giving KK much and let too much go. It made for an exciting game but not a great game of hurling. Reading the KK forum earlier in the year I was surprised by some of the comments about Cody who yet again showed himself to be a master tactician and motivator. I just don't know how they do it year in year out.
I wish Cork could play with that raw desire. In an amature game motivation and desire will get you a long way.

The m11 northbound just now around kilpedder must be nobody left in Wexford

After watching a match like yesterday, it’s very hard to remind yourself that it’s ‘only’ an amateur sport.

Cody vs Davy or The battle of the old guard Cody vs Sheedy

The media will have a field day the next few weeks. Could be cringe

Add in Donal O Grady aswell. Absolutely HATES KK. He mentions Kilkenny’s “dark arts” all the time. You’d swear they were the only team ever to cross the line. He even highlighted one KK minor dragging a jersey yesterday on TG4.

We keep our feet on the ground. The only thing we'd ever like to think is that we'll go out and we'll work very, very hard.

Some game of hurling yesterday, not sure today's game will live up to that.
If we've learned anything it's that the standard in leinster this year is phenomenal. With that said looking to today wexford won't get a better chance of winning an all Ireland. Tipp are on the ropes and have been for a while. Wexford have had kilkennys number for the last few years and will fancy their chances in the final.

Tipp need to start like a house on fire and get ahead, if wexford build up a lead in the first 20 odd minutes they'll be extremely hard to catch. Think tipp will need goals to win, callanan has been outstanding this year and has scored goals in every game so far, think tipp will need him in top form if they've to have any chance.

    Should be a cracker.

    Buckley should have walked.

You wonder about Hegartys boxing the head off a kilkenny player on the ground straight in front of the ref.

Minor match so far been poor enough. Galway well on top

James Barry won't start from what I'm hearing, seamus Kennedy starting instead.

Wexford have just been handed a huge lifeline. Galway down to 14

As per they don't show replays of it in Croke Park was it a correct decision?

Kilkenny definitely seemed to be reffed harder then anyone else. It will be interesting to see who refs the final

The only replay that TG4 had of it was from the camera high up above Hill 16. So a long way away. I couldn't make it out

At least it can't be that idiot Sean cleere who's Reffing today, worst ref in the game.

Usually you can tell by a lad coming off but he seemed very adamant he was hard done by. I heard one of the Galway management team say if we're in it you'll be playing it in.

Poor Dennis Walsh. He's become a parody of himself with his hatred of Kilkenny.
He claims that Kelly disengaged and effectively handed the game to Kilkenny. It's no surprise this pssses for analysis with his English masters. They wouldn't know a hurl from a hockey stick.

Wexford unable to make any impression, Galway comfortable enough with 14

Definitely kilkennys demise since 2016 was met with great delight in the public circle. Alot of people outside wont be happy that they are back. That's why I was delighted to see them win last night. When tipp , Clare and limerick all had novel wins; they where the saviour of hurling. Cody never gets this credit, the characteristics he brings to team sport is brilliant. He is definitely Ireland s greatest manager in any sport

Yea there’s a very sad element especially in Munster who delight more in Kilkenny losses than their own counties victories - perhaps if they had more of a focus on self improvement rather than naked begrudgery then they might be more successful- kilkenny do their talking on the pitch

Predictions for the match today? Reckon Wexford could sneak it by a point or two.

Cleere can be fussy. I'd be surprised if Wexford finish with 15 on the pitch. My money is on Murphy to see red today.
