Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ridiculous amount of gave grabs by Safarov in that first round. He should have been deducted a point in the second round too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,923 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Not sure what took him so long to deduct a point tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

Duffy getting well beat here so far. Needs a very big 3rd round. Hopefully Diakese tires.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,739 ✭✭✭ASOT

    Joe's leg is ****ed

Also Firas was ****e in the corner there, some delusional advice.

3-0 Diakiese. Not a hard fight to score, Duffy well beaten.

Jesus I wonder what Diakese was going though.

I was screaming for one of Joe's sweeps or reversal attempts to pull off, good scrap, unlucky Joe.

    Arnold Allen impressive so far.

    3-0 Allen, nice performance.

Been tuned in since the 2nd fight, great event so far. Will be cheering on Masvidal loads tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,739 ✭✭✭ASOT

Felder looking good thank God, glad he's on commentary

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

It will be a big ask for Masvidal. He hasn't fought since November 2017.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭Mehaffey1

Got Marshman in this one, only reasoning is I haven't heard of Philips and Marshman came in heavy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,739 ✭✭✭ASOT

Should be a slugfest, I'm going with Phillips because he's a nice fella.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,960 ✭✭✭Autecher

Phillips may live to regret letting Marshman off like that. Also see John has a chest tatoo which must be required in SBG or something!

Not a single decent fight so far.

Really amateurish performances from just about every fighter.

You missed all the prelims so, some cracking fights. Agreed the last two were ****e though.

    ??

    Molly & Priscilla
    Marc Diakiese was tidy too.

Taught Phillips won that fight, he should have finished him in the first though.

Was Dominated for three rounds, didn't look right at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭Mehaffey1

Missed a good bit of that last one but from what I seen Phillips had all the big shots and controlled the octagon majorly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39 Iano813

Last round swung it for marshman, Philips didn't do anything of note.

That was a very entertaining fight. I have to say Roberts submission defence was excellent. Strange finish, hopefully we get it cleared up re the supposed verbal tap. I hope the ref didn't make a mistake!

Roberts saying there was no verbal tap and the ref stopped it wrongly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

Jesus that's tough on Roberts. A grunt/groan seems to be the reason the ref stepped in. I grunt and groan everytime I get up off the couch!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,613 ✭✭✭Mehaffey1

Had no idea what was going on there at the finish. There was me thinking it was a DQ for an attempted spike by Roberts, I don't envy the referees one bit but a grunt is a bit of a tough one.

What's the estimated time for the Till fight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,134 ✭✭✭dashoonage

Holy Holm grunts every time she throws a ****ing punch...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 619 ✭✭✭macnug

ref was terrible there I think. The restart was a bit much, and the verbal tap?? Playing by the book a bit much!

True, he's a bit of an arsehole at times but you can't say the HOF isn't deserved, think 4 losses he had were all against opponents who popped, or later popped.

Tuned in just in time for the big three fights, how was the rest of the card? Have it recorded, is it worth a look later?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,649 ✭✭✭Whelo79

Really clean performance by Wood there, really nice!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Walker would dismantle Reyes in the battle of the 205 prospects.
