Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where are all the tall guys in Ireland

The Irish midlands, do a cycling tour or something.
That's where the biggest boyos are.

I wouldn't recommend a cycling tour. They'd be in no state to enjoy the charms of those Midlands bean stalks after those saddles.

I don‘t think the Irish men are particularly shorter than the EU average and I see men above 6ft all the time. Although some of them could also be N/E European origin...

I don’t doubt that taller guys are quite popular with women in general and therefore often taken.

I also have observed that a few men would be a bit intimidated by tall women and opt for shorter girls.
However, the tall girls I know didn’t have a problem with finding the right guy in the end!

And your are only 27 - you still have plenty of time to find your extra- tall Mr. Right!

Imo threads on Boards (esp in AH) often result in frank, sarcastic and controversial replies.
It really can be a minefield sometimes.
However, threats of any kind should result in an immediate ban! That’s unacceptable!
Mentioning some „physical attributes“ in posts also brings out the creeps unfortunately.

I‘d recommend to take a lot of the replies on here with a grain of salt ... don‘t take it too personal!

Some of the replies are actually quite witty and made me laugh. So, kudos to some of the posters!

I concur, the threats were way out of line.

    And yes, few witty retorts

I did take it personally initially, with the video post, vitriolic commentary and being wrongfully accused of discrimination and the OP being threatened.

However, now I realise the short guys just ended up in the wrong thread.

All is right in the World again!

Girl join the GirlCrew app or give me a shout and we can go for a pint when all the COVID19 madness dies down ! :pac::cool:

Clothes for our height - try extra tall range from Next.ie plus theyve a sale at the moment! :)

@ShayNannigan nice to see you here on Disney's thread.
I adore rock and some metal...to quote Nietzsche "Without music, life would be a mistake... "

I'm in the Smurfette category myself regarding height and am attracted to tall guys and my most recent ex is just over 6'1"

All my female friends are tall, so I'm the odd one out in that sense but I'm cool with that...

Disney and yourself will be able to relate, so I'm glad you have someone to talk about clothes for your height and so forth.

I've no-one to talk bout short girl issues, even the sun visor in my car is useless to me!

Isn't it gas that when someone doesn't like a reply, they call the poster a 'short guy' like it's the worst thing you could say to a man.

I just see it as a catty childish reply. It doesn't show them up well at all.

    Ah well...

If you're referring to me in my reply to Sam, I wasn't calling him a 'short guy' it's was in relation to a post regarding a guy called Jesus Christ and Sam said he was a short arse.

I've never heard of him myself so can't really comment

Oh, and just to repeat myself over and over, this is a thread about Tall Guys not short guys. Think you would have guessed that from the title?

The rudimentary Pie Charts and so forth that we're employing in this thread are exclusively for the compilation of Tall Guy data. So, I'm still bewildered that there's any short guys here at all

Women like tall men because height indicates good genes, hence it's attractive. And that's completely fine.

But women have no right to get annoyed when men indicate their preference for slim young beautiful girls.

George Burgess doesn’t even have a good pair of jeans

You know what just give me good heart. A sensible head on those shoulders, big or small I’ll take them all I don’t discriminate. Unless you’re not pretty that is...

Well if you look at this thread there's a lot of short guys who think it is the worst thing ever.

Ah... This is a Tall Guy Thread... And if a man is short why would I call him tall?

Ain't no-one ever going to call me tall is there?

    Get a grip FFS

    This is AH

What's what all these random posts?

    Yawn

Oh, and let's get real here, I am NOT the only one...

Will the trolls on here just leave if they are not going to contribute the OP intention of the thread?

Anyone else read Dawkins and Hitchens and then immediately lose all interest in the subject (religion)? I don't bother these days, the subjects bores me and passes me by like a tall girl passing by a short guy.

Vinaigrette, now there's something I could talk about. F*cking delicious.

Well I wouldn't know as I'm a short girl, not a tall girl.

No interest in Dawkins really but great respect for the late Hitch.

Sorry OP and the girl, what is the intention of this thread?
Do you want people to speculate on which counties have the greatest percentage of tall men? There's very unlikely to be a meaningful difference.

And would you move there to get a tall man? Is there an endgame at all?

    Hi Austria.

Don't recognise you from this thread at all? My apologies if I'm mistaken, of course.

'OP and the girl', jeepers thanks! Strange way to address me (the girl).

Surely you would know if you've been reading the posts that the so called 'endgame' as you put it is evident in the OP initial thread post.

And as for myself, 'the girl', I've already said that yes, I would be willing to travel.

Disney and myself are hoping to travel to different Counties when the Pandemic is over to finally meet these guys IRL.

    Thanks for the interest.

    Goodnight and stay safe

I do not possess any brain injury.

Another random troll on here looking for validation via 'thanks' from all the other guys doing same, I presume?

    Well done you.

If that was your best attempt at a personal insult to me, couldn't you have come up with something better?

Have you had any FMRI recently?

If not, maybe ask your doctor for a referral perhaps. Just a suggestion.

And perhaps try 'Thread Distancing' instead of sending a random post suggesting I have a brain injury

    Lol

You hit the nail on the head there at last, Leg End!!!!!

A Tall order is exactly what OP and I are seeking. We thought they were in short supply but thankfully they're not. No pun intended.

Plenty of tall guys messaging on here now, thankfully.

I thought all was lost for a while with the shortcakes but now starting to get to know the tall guys.

Love the taste of strawberries, how about you?

Strawberries and a squirt of cream perhaps? Yummy
