This might be one I've posted before, but saw it in Aldi in Cavan town today.
Not a bit afraid of it being stolen, or they'd have closed the door!

Rare to see the jacking point covers still "present and correct"

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but a Jetta in Cavan is the most "Cavan" image to my mind.

I'm nearly sure I put up pics of the white Starlet before. Looks worse in daylight.

    Yup it's a Mk 1 Laguna.

For what it's worth for a car that was one of the nicest looking normal cars you could get when new. It's surprising how ordinary it looks in 2021.

The Xantia and the 405/406 Peugeot's have aged better imo.
IMO the Mk1 phase 1 laguna looks better than mk1 phase 2 as in that photo. I'd agree though that the 406 and Xantia have aged better as their squarer/sharper styling is more in keeping with that of modern cars.

    That's actually a multi-story car park.
Some of the upper storys are rarely used so they appear to rent out spaces to people who want to store their car inside, presumably classic cars etc.

It's a good idea actually cause it makes use of the car park while people who may not have any access to storage at home get a cheap alternative.

Spotted in Tuam today. Maybe this belongs on a different thread, it's not on the road, it mightn't be that old and maybe not even a car? A Suzuki...... ?

Semog kartcross racing buggy or something similar.

Basically purpose built racing buggies which are built to certain specifications for competing in specific racing series.

You'd often see a class of them at various autocross events around the country.

Usually powered by Suzuki gsxr 600 or 750 engines.

NCT out on both of them.
Will they see the road again?

There is a shed beside the cars with a ford sign on the door. I would think it's a person who like fords and works on the. Possibly.
Might see the road, who knows.

I disagree. The MK1 looked great but the 1.5 just refined it and made it look that much better.
I think they have all aged well.

After seeing the Citroen DS posted earlier, it reminded me that I had a photo too, not seen today but just before Christmas, this is actually a daily driver.
