Share your favourite on-line stores with other users! This is the place to post about sites you have found good for buying or finding out about:

    Clothes
    Perfume & Make-up
    Shoes
    Discounted Items
Specialist stores e.g. clothes for the very tall, shoes for wider feet etc
Any other products relating to fashion and appearance

    My personal favourites:

Strawberrynet - Good for make-up although it was a bit slow delivering.

Tightsplease - Good for unusual tights.

La Redoute - French mail order company. They have some nice, cheap stuff. The original French site is here and personally, I think the lay out is far better and the prices are also in euro. The only thing is that you must understand French to use it!

Thinkgeek - Handy for geeky t-shirts although I find the postage is quite pricey.

Palmercash - I've ordered some cool t-shirts from here in my time!

Lush online - Handy if you find the smell in the stores too over-powering. They were a bit slow delivering too, though.

Hmm. That's all that I can think of for now!

    T-Shirt Hell - Amusing/offensive t-shirts :)

I know people that swear by eBay. Apparently you can pick up some good deals on there, especially on unusual stuff or if you need clothes of an unusual size.

Overstock.com - Internet Outlet Store - VEry cheap designer stuff, the problem is that you will get hit for both import duties and VAT ontop of delivery so bear that in mind. Some of the stuff on there is actually more expensive than usual after you factor in the above.

i remember they didnt deliver to Ireland before but i got some stuff off them nearly a yr ago now, they had just started to deliver to ireland then.

very pricey delivery. i paid so much for the delivery on my credit crd, then a few weeks later i got bill from fed ex for €75 .

yes, that's called import tax, anything bought outside the EU is subject to customs tax it's annoying but it's got to be paid and that's probably the reason why you think it was expensive.

Enough chatter - this is supposed to be a thread of links. If you want to discuss other issues such as import tax, take it to the relevant forum.

I dont shop in shops unless I actually have to - I buy everything online. ever with the high euro-sterling exchange rate I find things still work out cheaper.
    ok:
    for cosmetics go to www.strawberrynet.com
well recommended and vvgood prices...and free postage!

www.asos.com fantastic clothes based on celeb styles . Ok prices, and they usually have sales on too. Delivery is not to expensive. Ive shopped with them loads , never had a problem and people always ask where I got my stuff (nothin worse in my opinion than walking into a bar and everyone has similar clothes to you).

www.iwantoneofthose.com the best shop for gadgets and gifts they have really really good stuff similar to firebox but the postage on firebox to ireland is ridiculous!! iwantoneofthose has similar items but better postage cost.

also ebay! lots of ebay sellers are selling as a business and their stuff is brand new. a lot of em also give you free p & P

www.cdwow.com - dvd and cds at cut price and free postage and packaging...i think anyone who shops in a dvd/cd store over here is mad - you are being ripped off!!

also lads check out pigsback.com its an irish company and if you are a member and you by from asos / strawberry net / etc through pigsback you get piggypoints which you can exchange for awear vouchers / phone credit etc ..there is no catch ive been a member for years. even better if you get a mbna pigsback credit card, shop through pigs back on the site listed, you get piggy points for what you bought AND a piggy point for every single euro you spend on your credit card

If you have probelms getting knee high boots to fit (either skinny or fat calfs) then www.duoboots.co.uk are excellent. A bit pricey but worth it.
