Surprised to see Artem so short. People tempted with Hall at 7/4?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

I've had a small punt on Hall via submission at 3/1.

I'd love to see Artem win, but Hall is 13/8 to win the fight and the only way I can see Hall winning it is via submission so I think there's value in it.

Bookies seem to think it'll be Artem via KO/TKO in round 1 however.

Can see a few TKO's tonight so going with a small acca on the mov

Elias Theodorou by KO @ 13/5
Sage Northcutt by KO @ 6/4
Omari Akhmedov by KO @ 23/10
Tim Means by KO @ 15/8

    €5 returns €426

Then full card Mov as usual for the craic

    Paige Vanzant on Points 6/4
    Michael Chiesa on Points 15/8
Antonio Carlos Junior on Points 23/10
    Aljamain Sterling by Submission 21/10
    Santiago Ponzinibbi 11/4
    Nathan Coy on Points 3/1
    Zubaira Tukhugov on Points 6/4
    Kailin Curran on Points 10/11
    Elias Theodorou by KO 13/5
    Sage Northcutt by KO 6/4
    Omari Akhmedov by KO 23/10
    Tim Means by KO 15/8

Put the bet on yesterday, just showing the crazy odds that are floating around.

The only thing stopping me backing Lauzon is the fact Dunham has only lost to the best guys at Lightweight going back the last 4 years - Cerrone, Dos Anjos, Barboza & TJ Grant & has tended to beat everyone else for the most part. You could argue the same for Lauzon but I think he has a lot more miles on the clock and I wouldn't consider Lauzon in the top tier at Lightweight. I think it will be very close but I reckon Dunham will win a decision.

Some of the bets i've done so far:

Single on Mendes Ko @ 5/1

Heinz bet on Nelson,Weidman,Souza,McGregor,Ferguson & Mendes

    Accumulator on Ferguson,Souza,Weidman & McGregor

Holloway vs Stephens to be fight of the night @ 17/2

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 10,462 Mod ✭✭✭✭Axwell

Not much luck last night, will see how tonight goes!

MOV acca as usual and then going with just win acca. Will stick a few singles on during the card.

    Frankie Edgar @ 8/11
    Ryan Hall @ 11/8
    Tony Ferguson @ 4/7
    Joe Lauzon @ 6/4
    Jason Knight @ 15/8
    Marcin Wrzosek @ 11/10
    Mike Pierce @ 7/4
    Abner Lloveras @ 5/4
    Konstantin Erokhin @ 5/6
    Joby Sanchez @ 10/11

    Edgar - DEC
    Hall - SUB
    Ferguson - DEC
    Lauzon - SUB
    Knight - SUB
    Wrzosek - DEC
    Erokhin - KO
    Pierce - DEC
    Sanchez - DEC
    Lloveras - DEC

    Cheers,
I let myself get talked out of backing rose and was kicking myself. Said I was going to trust my gut with frankie.

The Accum tomorrow would be a nice touch too.

Seen betfair had Aldo to take Mcgregor down at anytime 5/2 yesterday that was a really good price I thought ,I see evens now.. To touch gloves 8/11 currently ,surely that's very likely to happen

8/11 is huge for them to touch gloves imo, i think its a certainty. There is definitely a lot of mutual respect on both sides.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,515 ✭✭✭Hoki

I also underestimated the size of Yoel Romero when making my picks. I opted for Jacare instead thinking he had a distinct height and reach advantage over Romero. I knew Romero was jacked but always thought of him as being relatively small height wise, was fairly surprised to see him being pretty much the same as Jacare.

hard to believe now aldo was 6/4 if not higher a few weeks back yet odds on almost everywhere now, not often you see such a swing like that

Need Mustafaev & Weidman fights to not go the distance to finish a 5-fold.
Did a McGregor win round 1 or 2 and need some finishes for a 12-fold.
Been up since 7am Vegas time, can't wait. Head down in an hour!

Yeah I'm fairly confident I saw Aldo at 13/8 at one point. Was thinking of backing it and laying it near the fight but chickened out.

have aldo done on pts but regret not taking the 6/4 also...sure conor is tough as nails so unless aldo breaks his leg he'll go the distance

Been a fan of Bet365 for a long time. Been very good on customer service too.

Handy to have all funds in once account too. But didn't think the odds would differ that much.

McGregor and Aldo 10/11 a piece with 90% of bookies now. Literally a coin toss in terms of betting odds. McGregor for me, but mostly a patriotic punt.

    On Betfair Exchange

    Aldo 1.99
    McGregor 2.00
