Aldi doing 24 cans for 20 euro Guinness carlsberg budweiser next Thursday

At last! Finally I have evidence of the so called "cheap alcohol in supermarkets".

Edit: At 83 cents a can, your average person in France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium and lots of other places would still disagree with it being cheap though, but thats an aside point.

Yes. Loads in Lucan- people just don't seem to like it.
Me- I'm using my Dunnes vouchers to get some of the Glenfiddich 12 (even if I prefer the 15). I just don't like the taste of Jack Daniels- its far too sweet- its not up there with Teelings- but its not far behind. At least you get a nice oaky taste with the Glenfiddich 12 (the 15 has a more sherry after-taste- a little fruity rather than sweet). Dunnes Maynooth have no shortage of the Glenfiddich 12 @ 40 a bottle.

Is there any promotions on Applemans or Orchard Thieves ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,820 ✭✭✭OmegaGene

Sunday world has a voucher today for €10 off €50 spend at dunnes
Combine that with the special offers on drink for extra savings

Why is coors light always €28 when others have been sold at €20/€24 for 24 cans

Maybe coors want to show themselves as being a premium brand, bulmers used to do the same thing at one stage they would do smaller packs of 18 and still be €28.
Orchards thieves and all the other sweeter ciders seems to have stopped that lately

Some people select to use text instead of the paper voucher
If you can’t find the paper vouchers then download the app or ring customer services and they will email replacement ones

The vouchers used to arrive in the post, but lately they deliver by text message, just a 9 digit number to use online or at till. Handy, because you'll have your phone with you, might not have actual voucher.
