Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The government should be subsidising full rent if someone isn't paying their rent and you can't as a landlord feck them out.

There’s no need for anyone to pay rent these days. The government have decreed that you can’t be evicted!

That would soon get de gubbermint stopping their full welfare payments.

    RTB are useless.

He has a load of properties let's be honest.
But that isn't really the issue.
He looks like he has tried to reach a compromise

Yer man off PictureHouse yesterday. Mary Byrne today. Who can we expect on Monday?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,006 ✭✭✭Sorolla

Any landlord with a house to rent is better off to leave the property unoccupied

If there is a housing shortage then let the local county council buy up unoccupied properties

Surely emergency money from government to cover these defaulters would be fairer.

He seems like a half decent fella he has clearly engaged and lowered rent on other properties.
Not all landlords are horrendous tbh

The government could then chase the defaulters to re pup the tax lost.
