    Flat when leaves hands

    Nope unfortunately

That's a pity. That's a try if it's not thrown exactly on the line. Unfortunate.

I never thought I'd say this but Burns is making lots happen

Physics, hard at work. FFS every pass at pace is forward.

Not sure about that. By Wayne Barnes standards that’s more than flat. Harsh.

Another beauty from Stockdale. Could he be the replacement for Sexton we’ve been looking for?

you're not allowed throw it forward though. Apart from that....

Not at all. replay showed clearly forward. look at half way line in replay.

Try of the year disallowed - typical. Flat out of hands for me.

Burns has had a very decent first half

That's very harsh, was flat when it left his hands and continued flat for a bit before it drifted.

Not convinced it was myself. I thought it was flat enough when it left the hands but you get some and lose some.

If the half way line was not there as a marker it prob would have been given

Such is the annoyingness of the man (Heaslip)...

That ref comes across so smug

Very unlucky that call went against them

Where the ball ends up is not relevant in the slightest. It was backwards out of the hands.

Is the rule not that you're not allowed throw the ball forward as opposed to have to throw it backwards. The ball looked to leave Stockdale's hands flat.

I was thinking the same. He really likes the sound of his own voice.

French referees need to be removed from all international competitions

There was nothing wrong with that pass. Officials are having a brutal game imo.

    Strongly agree. They're hopeless.

If the halfway line wasn’t there it would have been given.

But it hardly matters. We’ll win this playing in first gear.

Good to see Alex Corbisiero on punditry for Channel 4, he’s currently battling cancer.
    He’s still an absolute unit.

It was a cracker though. Pity to see it disallowed.

Try manage a game like that and see how it goes.

I dont think it would but yes its completely irrelevant to the result of the game

Ok first half performance from a scratch side. But it's really tough to see many positives either. Georgia is a side we're far stronger than anyway. Nice to see some attacking moves brought out, but we won't have the forward dominance we're seeing today against the better sides.
