    Well its Heritage week at the moment so went out with the camera on Sunday morning

    Kenure Church of Ireland called locally the prodestant church, opposite Rush Cricket club

    Kenure graveyard and church ruin. Just beside entrance to St. Catherines Estate. This is where the Pirate Luke Ryan is buried. The graveyard is still in use.

    Well we were out and about last Sunday again.
    1) The range wall at Rush, a breakwater for the harbour. The gap in the wall I heard recently was put in by The Palmer estate in 1800s so horse could draw wore from the beach

    Horrible weather last week end and hope it improves for Killalane this week end. Just a run to Skerries but the light was terrible and only got this of Shenick from Holmpatrick

    Martello Tower Drummanagh Rush

    This was taken this week on an outing with Rush Library Camera Group using a torch and the light trails were achieved using wire wool packed into ordinary kitchen whisks which were tied to lengths of wire and 2 lads swinging them. The sparks from the wool gave us the trails of light from behind the tower. It was my first attempt and a good bit of fun.

    There are similar photos in our exhibition in Rush Library from Monday 3rd of October. Images from Fingal, inc Rush, Skerries Loughshinny Balbriggan Howth Portrane and various shots from Dublin city. Pop in and take a look.

    A view of the moon (and Jupiter I think below it) snapped on my old Nikon from my window in Swords, 7.30am the other morning. Not very North Countyish although I assure you the trees are in NCD. :D

    Was up in Baldungan church on Thursday night as it was nice and clear and I wanted to get a moody moon shot with headstone or a cross in it when suddenly she appeared. !!!!!

    Out tricking about with lights this week on North Beach in Rush where there is very little light polution. This is supposed to be a heart!!! With no strings attached

    And this...... Remeber Simon Templer "The Saint" well he lost his head somewhere in this, in fact it could be up his.............

    Both of these were done with Fairly lights from Halloween that had a switch and one person hand painted the shapes. Its a bit hit and miss but a good bit of crack. Id say rumours were all over the place the next day about strange lights over at the cliffs

    Up early this morning for a sunrise outing with Rush Library Camera Group but the sun would not obliege on what was the coldest morning I have been out this year with a biteing chilly wind blowing.

    Was out on the Carlyann rocks opposite Rush pier last Sunday when this yacht sailed into the frame brightening up an otherwise bitterly cold morning.

    I am sure if anyone was out walking along the Rush to Loughshinny road last night at St Catherines they would have seen some strange goings on in Kenure Graveyard. Well it was just a few from Rush Library Cmera Group who went out to try a few "different" night shots. Cloaks, skulls torchs and a bit of smoke!!!!
