Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Man shot in Dublin today, from Pachal Sheehys report its obvious who the victim is. Just wondering why theres no thread with the usual discussion on Boards. Is there a ban on discussing the Kinahan/Hutch 'fued'?

    MOD
This thread is not to have speculation, no use of initials to hide identities of people and not to be used to attack each other.
Please keep this on the topic of the shootings.

    Further warning 17/01/20
    ***THREAD WARNING, MUST-READ***

I think a few things need to be cleared up here before I can allow this thread to continue. As you will have read in the opening post there are mod warnings not to post names or initials. I have deleted literally hundreds of posts attributing murders and other crimes to people (via their initials) that they have not been convicted of. That needs to stop immediately.

If you are posting a new piece of breaking news, include a source. Sources are news articles or tweets from reputable journalists, nothing else. Include the link if you are copying text from a story - if you have too few posts to include a link, cool your jets, someone else will post it shortly.

    "I'm being told it was..."
"So and so on Facebook posted that...
    "Tweet by someone says..."
    "Got a Whatsapp about..."
    "My neighbours aunty's fella said..."

None of these are reliable news sources, please do not post them here as if they were. Using the words 'apparently' or 'I heard that' etc. doesn't take away from the fact that it's probably bull.

Users, particularly new ones who are telling others 'that's not what this thread is for'...actually, political views, solutions to the wider social issues being discussed are exactly what this thread, forum and site are for, it's a discussion site not a gossip swap so if you don't want to get invovled in those aspects of the discussion, skip on to the next post but don't presume to know what the thread is or is not for. If you genuinely think something is off-topic, report it don't respond.

"This is great advertising for Boards, look at all those views, they'll never close this thread". Wrong. The number of companies queuing up to advertise on a thread about drug dealers and murderers is exactly zero and that is not going to change. I will have no problem closing and removing the thread if people persist in naming names, posting unfounded rumours or trying to get around the naming names.

There are a large number of genuine posters who are following these news stories and are interested in discussing things as they are reported so the thread is being kept open for these people. Please report any posts that violate these thread rules or any site rules to keep it that way :)

    Thanks all.

Mods are doing their own clean-up of the thread so I've left it closed but they will re-open when their review is complete.

    Warning added 20/01/20
I've just deleted about a hundred posts made in the past 4 hours or so

From now on anyone ignoring the warnings in the OP can expect a minimum 1 week forum ban

Please do not claim you were not warned

    Mod warning 27/01/20

Unfortunately if posters do bring it up we will have to close the thread

There's another one of a bloke being beaten with bats over the arse until one of the bats breaks. he was a state prosecutor or something and was later found hanging from a bridge with his bollocks cut off and stuffed in his mouth.
The Pinata Song is playing in the background for comedic effect!

Warfarin is not an injection. It's a tablet. Maybe you are getting confused with a medication called Dalteparin/Enoxaparin.

They have different mechanisms of actions though.

Is there actually a hutch crew? I thought a few family members are involved in serious crime but the majority aren't.

Something happened at wardys safe house on ratoath drive, four bangs, either shots or stun grenades, garda still have the road blocked off, ERU had the whole block up cappagh road, abbotstown road, abbotstown drive and ratoath drive surrounded (in pic below), garda were piling over a back wall, searching all the back gardens, news crews were on the scene, every copper in Dublin seemed to be there.

I've seen plenty of raids in my time, even that gaff plenty of times but this was a bit special, they had the big black land rover as usual (the bullet proof doors and windows destroyer) but the amount of guns and garda was a sight to behold.

    Probably only a raid alright.

The gucci's tried to take down the new camera on cappagh road yesterday, unfortunately they didn't have a tank or high explosives and only managed to break some of austin lynches wall at his yard and put a scrape on the base of the camera.

The best way to take them out is burning a car tyre/tyres at the base, destroys all the cabling.

Obviously you don't know the one I'm talking about, plus this is 2019, they are wireless with battery back-up, there's no wires going into the ground, all electricity in Finglas West comes from wooden poles and feeds into each block of houses.

Even Nikola Tesla in 1901 could transmit electricity from Wardenclyffe Tower wirelessly, there's a series of "box's" on many old fashioned wooden electricity poles in Finglas that feed each other wirelessly with power, them days of burning tyres are gone.

Even phones charge now wirelessly, you think the powers that be don't employ latest technology, I'm not being rude, just stating facts.

The one in Darndale was powered and cabled from the ground...

Plus the one in Darndale had a maintenance box as shown in the picture, like I said a tank or high explosives.

Two really different types of cameras and supports, the one in Finglas goes another 6ft into the ground, no maintenance needed unless you have a high reach.

Why do street lights need these?, 5G ain't here yet.

Wireless only works when near, 10 foot ain't going to charge nothing.

    Tell Nikola Tesla that.

“Power can be, and at no distant date will be, transmitted without wires, for all commercial uses, such as the lighting of homes and the driving of aeroplanes. I have discovered the essential principles, and it only remains to develop them commercially. When this is done, you will be able to go anywhere in the world — to the mountain top overlooking your farm, to the arctic, or to the desert — and set up a little equipment that will give you heat to cook with, and light to read by. This equipment will be carried in a satchel not as big as the ordinary suitcase. In years to come wireless lights will be as common on the farms as ordinary electric lights are nowadays in our cities.” (Nikola Tesla, The American Magazine, April 1921)

Tesla moved his experiments to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1899. According to Tesla’s lab notes, he succeeded in sending electricity from his lab to lightbulbs sitting on the ground hundreds of feet away.

Gangster Mr Flashy's fortress HQ raided by gardai in 'stash' swoop

Armed gardai last night stormed the Dublin HQ of a drugs mob led by gangster Mr Flashy.
Our exclusive image shows local gardai and detectives searching the house in Finglas, which is suspected of being used as a "stash house".

Armed officers attached to specialist units were first used to gain access to the property before the building was searched.

Gardai remained at the house last night, and a source said the operation "is still live".

Dozens of gardai descended on the scene at around 8pm yesterday, including members of the Armed Support Unit (ASU), while the garda helicopter circled above.

Quantity of coke, bagged weed, around 10 burner phones, weighing scales, few baseball bats, cash.

This house was shot at a few times by rivals or whatever so it was pretty obvious it was hot. Why the fck stay operating out of it or be leaving crap like that in it at all. Makes no sense. Hard to call these lads organised in fairness.

It's been shot at, shot from and raided umpteen times, they've been there about 6 years or so, I heard the owner/landlord committed suicide a few years ago, they wouldn't pay the rent and wouldn't vacate the premises in an orderly manner.

It's checked regularly alright, the bulletproof window manufacturers love them, they must always have a ready made full set on standby, I've seen new windows and doors replaced within an hour of being ripped out by the big black beast landrover that was confiscated from the Dundon's I believe.

Can someone tell me what's in the Garda picture of the seizure? I see the scales on bottom left, lil wrap of coke beside the blue bag and a rake of mickey mouse phones on top right. What's the little green bags underneath the blue bag? Some look like aaa batteries and some look like those mint eclair sweeties yer granny used to give ya. There might be 3 green johnnies in wrappers on the right, and 2 bronze flutes in the top centre. By and large I can't make head nor tails of the picture as you might guess!

Also a question for those in the know, what kinda charges are we looking at potentially, just possession with intent, and of not a large amount at that? There's no brick sized lumps of hash or bales of coke like the gardai love publicising when they get them, seems imo that if the house was a known stashhouse then any cars coming or going would be monitored or gps'd to see where the brick sized pieces or the shooters are kept.

Seems strange to me that there's no shooters seized at a stashhouse, electric cattle wand stick isn't much use if someone with a grudge comes up shooting and wants to clean the place out.

I'd put money on it they were told by a rat he would be there and something big was going down inside the house. Look at the resources they put into the operation yesterday, you can bet your bottom dollar they wouldn't waste such resources to get someone on mickey mouse charges.

Are they pre rolled joints for sale the entrepreneurial fcukers haha.

Keep the bricks, kgs and shooters away from the crew that are known and attract the attention of guards until really needed, this looks like a publicity stunt by gardai.

With that seizure they've been dismantled and the war on illegal drugs has been won :)
