Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’m on the couch, feeling fairly shook. Can’t decide if I need food, a hug or just to go to sleep. Why am I like this?

Had a lovely swim earlier, just 500m but really enjoyed it.

Watching the game with my heart in my mouth, and just seen a presser from the Defence Forces that Israel is shelling south Lebanon, our troops are in shelter and all reported to be safe.

Going to take Richo to the beach in awhile.

Thinking of our boys and girls in Lebanon. Facebook link to the breaking news

It’s on a day like this that I would love to have a dog and go for a long rambling walk together.

I really should go visit the local dog shelter sometime.

Bedside still having issues with my leg. I’m only in my early thirties but feel like late 90’s.

Had a lovely walk, saw one woman walking in a padded jacket, hat and gloves. How would that be comfortable in this weather? I'd love if the weather was like this all year, sunny and bright with a fresh breeze.

Chips in the oven and then time to chill.

I think female bodies generally run a few degrees cooler anyways. 1-2degrees makes a huge difference.

I hope you're well rested and getting an early night. Isn't the big day tomorrow?

Just finished dinner and trying to drum up the enthusiasm to write a couple of letters to friends.

I have four people who write letters to me regularly. Two are young ones in their 50s and the other two are ancient, like myself. I'm afraid I mostly write leaning on a book, with a biro but good unlined paper. I only use a fountain pen when writing to Sir David.

Go and enjoy the night , sometimes you don't need alcohol to have a great time :)

Reading the updates on Hurricane Dorian in the Weather Forum . It's scary , terrifying and destroying people's lives already . I give out about the cold here , but we're so lucky to not be living in fear of hurricanes , tornadoes , destroying our lives as we know it :(

Just in the door! Beer opened! Turned into a better day than planned. I had a warm up pint with a big dinner barside. Mrs G and little G joined me for the second half and afterwards had grub barside too. They rambled home, I had a few more for discussion purposes.:D Watched it locally, but with a decent crew.

No fear at all about the replay. Game over Kerry.:)
