Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Effing glitch! It seems to only happen for the first post on the next page now, as the thread goes on the next page is full by the time you get past it.

...Jesus Christ was a man that travelled through the land
    Hard working man and brave
He said to the rich, "Give your goods to the poor"
So they laid Jesus Christ in His grave...

    Morning lovely Wherers!

Late leaving the leaba this morning after finding myself in a pickle last night. Needed a bit of rescuing but thanks to my shining knight all is well in Bumbóg land again. Doggies walked and cats fed. One advantage of the unusually late start was chatting with my elderly neighbour over his fence as he was tending his garden. This lovely gentleman has to be finding the current restrictions challenging as he is a serial hugger … he invents the most ridiculous reasons for giving hugs and nobody complains as we all love him. He’s the type of person whose conversation always leaves you smiling. This morning was no different. I was telling him how much I missed getting the hair done (my hair is gone too long and I’ve taken to twisting and pinning it into a low bun most days). He called his wife over and said “isn’t honeybear looking great?” Myself and his missus smiled knowingly at each other (I’m no more “looking great” at the moment) and I left them chuckling. He’s put me in such good humour that … I might find myself going for walkies at the same time tomorrow! Hope everyone has a lovely day!

We had a family zoom meeting last night. All my kids, grandchildren and most of my nieces and nephews. Best 2 hours I have had in a long time. My heart is still singing today.

Kitchen listening to an Irish folklore podcast and delighted I can easily follow the Irish language parts. It seems to depend on the speaker's dialect and accent. Apparently Tallaght means Plague Hole :P

Speaking of cats, I have something to show you, Seph and other cat likers. When it wakes up.

Is that what she is? I've no idea! Not a cat person at all until this kitty turned up in September and decided she wanted to live with me. Now she is my best friend and honestly, provides so much joy!

Except his mother was a semi feral who dropped him in a puddle and abandoned him. She had a mean streak.

Couch side because I can't be bothered going deskside. Feeling somewhere between melancholic and apathetic today and it's not proving very productive, so work today is just going to be answering emails and pretending to read articles.

Widders, what's the podcast? Sounds like it might be a good distraction :)

It's Blúiríní Béaloidis..and, any non Irish speakers would also be able to follow it as it's mainly in English.

What a day out there! Tableside with coffee building myself up to wrestle with the lawn mower.

Was going to go shopping but it'll be too busy. Anyone else find they're eating a lot less? If there's any positives to emerge from this they'll be that I'll have a fully organised house and slightly trimmer waist.

I agree with you , think in my case it's because I'm doing a lot more outside , so stop for lunch then back out , no picking in between !

Sitting outside with coffee and a sandwich , weeded out the front . Grass can wait until tomorrow , it'll be a battle in itself :pac:

Is such a thing physically possible W? I think not.
