Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As I know is long ques in customs, but only with An Post, I get deliveries with FEDEX, DHL, UPS. Some come in 3 days from China.

    Just heard the ship that got stuck in the suez has not traveled on, instead is still there being inspected and now in an insurance case so will not be going anywhere.

    If your order is in one of the 10-20,000 containers, you'll be waiting.

    Ordered 31 March. They said 5 - 8 business days. Last week they gave me a tracking number, with no clue as to which courier company. Got this message today:

    "HBC, we've received your parcel in our central distribution hub. it will be with you in 1-2 working days".

    If they had realistic delivery times, it would reduce the frustration and time-wasting in contacting customer service several times.

    I've had two small packets from China that both reached Ireland as far as I know and then went into the postal equivalent of the black hole of Calcutta. Not hide nor hair from them since.

    What trackers are people using? Trackdog and Parcel Monitor both seem to get updates, but I can't work out what's happening with the one gone via PostNL.

    17Track.net is quite good though I don't bother tracking parcels coming from china any more. They arrive when they arrive. for parcels coming via PostNL you will only get tracking as far as holland.

    have you used NL's tracker: https://postnl.post/

    I have an order from the 14th - reached PostNL on the 26th and they sorted it today, guess it might reach me next week.

    So your next update will be when it physically arrives for sorting in NL. After that it will state on way to destination country. Usually a couple days after.

    From recent experience, its 7 days to reach Ireland.

    An item I have on the way (supposedly) had its last tracking update as having arrived at Dublin airport on January 10th. Nothing heard from it since. Don't suppose it's even worth contacting An Post to ask what doing.

    You could also try https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/

    This combines the information from PostNL and AliExpress/Cainiao.

    It gives me more detail than 17track for AE orders.

    I have one item that arrived to Liege on 20th April....nothing since. It usually moves to "Last Mile Carrier" within days but this has not happened. And another one has been on "Last Mile Carrier" for 2 weeks.

    Other 3 items ordered at around the same time arrived ok, taking about 4 weeks.

    From recent posts, it seems that waiting times have gone from about 6-8 weeks in the middle of 2020, to around 2-3 weeks now.

    The hold-up in Liege seems to be getting shorter.

    Hi Hurrache, did your package arrive? Trying to tell here how long usually between the "The item is on transport to the country of destination" from PostNL to when it's actually delivered.

    Hey, it went from transport to the country on the 5th to arrived in Ireland on the 12th and then delivered on the 17th.

    Surprising how the delays in Belgium and Ireland are longer than the delays in China getting it to Europe.

    Have you checked on parcelsapp.com for tracking?
    When I used the aliexpress tracking links, there was no update after Liege for a long time, but I could see progress on the parcelsapp.com page.

    I think it still spent over a week from the 6th until the 14th knocking about different parts of the chain in Liege. I don't think these packages ever go to Holland, they go from AliExpress' mail handler to PostNL in Liege.

    I ordered an item from Joom which I thought would be sent from Latvia, but it was sent from China. I made the order on 29th April 2021 and it arrived to me in Dublin on 18th May 2021. The item cost €33.30 and I didn’t have to pay any extra duty. The tracking information on Zoom can take a few days to get updated. The website yuntrack.com was getting earlier updates and closer to the delivery the tracking information was on Fastway’s website. (HBC/ Hawkes Bay Couriers)

    Have five items in various stages of shipment. I'm a bit anxious to see if all of them will arrive before July 1st... I'm itching to order more stuff from Aliexpress but the stupid new EU regulations are stopping me. It really makes no sense to me that you're supposed to only buy within the EU. If you can't find it here, why would you have to pay an arm and a leg to import it? It feels like a certain other union ages ago (for several reasons).

    Relax (a bit) - even if strictly applied they (or my 9 orders awaiting delivery) just have to land within the EU by July 1st, Liege Rotterdam or wherever - not your own front door.

    Havnt ever bought from wish or Ali express so can't comment but anything I've bought on eBay from China and Honf Kong has arrived within 3 weeks bar 1 item last April didn't arrive after 3 months so contacted seller and got refund. Item arrives 2 weeks later 🙈
