    Feck, are you serious?

My planner told me I'd have a good chance of getting in with those measures.

You might be in Tier 2 because of the river, it depends if the river is in a water vulnerable area and your land is classified as wet for GLAS purposes and you had bovines in 2014.

If a farmers three measures are
    Traditional hay meadow
    Low input pasture and
Fencing off a stretch of river
What are the chances of getting into Glas 2?

Don't panic you might be ok. Would it be possible to add some native trees? Help you in the scoring system. Tier 3s might have a better chance than originally thought. As of the weekend gone by, only 400 plans have been submitted to the Department so I doubt it will be near as oversubscribed as first thought

I thought the tree planting option was gone.

Where did you get that figure?

    11500 according to the Dept.

Got it from the Department. 11500 applications exist yea, which consist of draft plans or texts sent out. Not plans that will all be submitted. There's a few thousand of them which have already cancelled so the Tier3s should have a lot better chance than originally thought

Anyone think this will be undersubscribed? I'm tier 3 but if I opt into low slurry emissions spreading I'll move to tier 2. Is it worth it?

You want to have to have pretty good land for that slurry I;d say
using rivers and LIPP here to get the €5000

What %has been paid of the 3 months

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭Bitten & Hisses

What %has been paid of the 3 months

I reckon 70%. My payment for 12 months is allegedly €4000 and I got €700. I thought uncle Simon announced we were to get 85% of a quarter payment, so They're either paying a lesser percentage or my planner has got it badly wrong

Ours is €700 too but our 12 month is €5k. I think €700 is the max.

    I got 400 . Im due the 5000

I think the amount also depends on your specific selected measures, some of those will result in a delayed payment.

I received two separate payments today. Can somebody explain what each of these exactly are? One for 600 and one for just over 800. Thanks
