Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should we snuggle too? That might help.

Gah, will the weather hold like this til tomorrow morning lads, I have to be up at half six :(

    Course we'll snuggle.

Wouldn't mind a bit of that to be honest, the modem that is:D
I remember I first used wireless on my laptop. Nearly vomitted with excitment.

It's kinda bleh here now. Really windy, but yeh... I'm not sure what Im expecting to be honest. Anyone getting any thunder/lightening? That would complete this.

Ah I see... didn't make the correlation with blown, it's rarely used in passed tense.

Aye, the storm then. Not much really, I was hoping for death and carnage tbh.

Seems to have died down a bit here, for what little it was (compared to what we might have gotten at this point).

It's still too bad to go out looting the destroyed storefronts, so I'll have to loot my own house instead.

A shed/small building for holding cattle. Though it's actually "byre". I never knew that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kraggy

Holding down the fort here in Clontarf, live near the seafront, and she's starting to brew up.

Really hope this doesn't fook with me Sky dish, as i'm on midterm and stocked up on supplies from Tescos, so this storm was one big excuse for me to lay about the couch and veg.

I had to spark up another from the stress of it all. Shocking imagery, I never saw the like of it before. With it's lid slightly ajar, almost as if it were saying "Awwwwwhhhgggggg........"

Meh three hours of bad gusting a bit of a let down, though about the same is promised for this afternoon/evening. Some flooding on the Quays and Sallypark I hear but not serious.

    Mike.

Jaysus that was one very productive storm for me. Had a bit of rubbish out the back garden. Not anymore lads.

    Mike, you're English, right?
We don't get storms as bad as those in England.
I think the English people are still trying to get over Michael fish getting it so wrong in 1987. :)
