Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nightmare before Christmas and The Family Man both sail through, both 5-1 - edited to count nightie's below vote which couldn't save the Shop Around the Corner I'm afraid. :)

Gotta go with Miracle on 34th Street , Trading Places not really a Christmas movie

Can't vote for the second one as have never seen Joyeux Noel, is it any good?

Gremlins is criminally underrated as a Christmas film

That's hardly fair. The Muppet babies will be asleep by then and the Die Hard lads have guns and stuff.

Also could be opening a can or worms here, is Lethal Weapon a Christmas movie?

Sorry of it's already been answered, but Lethal weapon isn't a Christmas movie. If you remove Christmas from the story, it makes no difference. Die Hard is a Christmas movie because it needs to happen at Christmas. Without the Christmas party, Bruce Willis will not be there, etc.

I do agree with this logic.

    Thankfully lethal weapon didn’t advance.

Actually we’re through 12 match ups already so that’s a good place to leave it for today.

Thanks to Posy for jumping in when work jumped on me.

We’ll kick off again tomorrow morning bright and early :)
