So here we go again it's a new month so time for a new tournament.

So this time we are deciding on our favourite Christmas Movie of all time.

    The Rules

    1. Maximum of 6 nominations per post.
    2. Remakes ARE allowed.
    3. Movies will be ranked firstly by number of Nominations and secondly by total gross box office receipts for full clarity.

We'll see how we go with nominations first before the knockouts will be announced.

Fire away, looking forward to this one :)

I thought I read somewhere they were.

I haven't watched the second yet.

I found the second one much better than the first, tbh!
Not sure about a third- hope they don't just flog the franchise to death!
Now, must get thinking about my nominations...

I personally preferred the first (the 'baddie' in the second one really irritated me for some reason) but the majority of people seem to think the second is better.
Our kids love them both mind.

Technically it is a thanksgiving movie sold as a Christmas movie in Europe... hmmm I don't think I can allow it.

    The Snowman
I was going to nominate this one myself but due to the fact the run time and the fact it never released in the cinemas I think we should save this one for the TV specials (tournament coming soon ;) )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,351 ✭✭✭Littlehorny

Want to second Arthur Christmas, was already mentioned once before.

    Other nominations -
    Office Christmas Party

Charlie Brown I think falls under the TV special.

Also could be opening a can or worms here, is Lethal Weapon a Christmas movie?

66 unique noms, which means we have enough to do a 64 Movie tournament.

Will leave the Nominations processed opened until Friday afternoon, do a bit of thinkering on the weekend and start Round 1 of the knock outs on Monday.
