    A grand total of three teachers from my all girls secondary school ended up married to former pupils.

    They were teaching there when the girls were students but there were never any rumours of any goings on while they were students, but who knows.

    I still think it's weird.

    this was back in 94.. nope, the other teach stayed in the school for two years then transferred to a different school.

    No I was very sick as a kid and missed two years in primary school because I was bed ridden and in and out of hospital.

    I did very well in my leaving cert and excelled in life there after....

    I went to <<snip!>> School (a pretty costly private school, that frequently pestered my parents for donations...), the Headmaster there got a student pregnant way back in the early 2000s.

    Classy

    All that money, and their equipment was literally stuff that was like a century old...

    That’s a mad statistic, you’d wonder how they remade acquaintances after the girls left school... a bit ‘organized’ to blame it all on Tinder...

    Early 90's so no social media at all then, as teenage girls we were more grossed out by the fact that any past pupil would wind up married to a teacher.

    And all remained teaching in the same school for many years afterwards.

    No teacher/student affairs but the parish priest knocked up one of the teachers all right, he was over 70 at the time so he was some man to still have a bit of lead in his pencil in the days before viagra.

    One of the teachers at my secondary school was married to a former student at a school where he previously. AFAIK proprieties were fully observed though...
