Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of those savage days I'm afraid.

A sausage toastie and OJ for breakfast. Homemade burger (keep a stock in the freezer) and chips for lunch with a Lucozade zero. Nibbled on different kinds of chocolate all day. Eyeing up the last of my spicy beef stir fry from last night. May have it later. Now to beer or not to beer.:D

Mam leading people astray here again i see.

Just after having some beef casserole with mixed fruit crumble for dessert.

Enough left over from each for tomorrow, if I can resist going for seconds later this evening.

    Pizza and garlic bread.

    529644.jpg

Don't mind the burnedy one, that's how the OH likes em, disgracefully. All meat as well, chorizo and rashers.

The soft base was lovely on the chicken one, and onion and peppers cooked nicely without getting charred.

I love a load of sauce with garlic and fresh basil. I think when I reheat the leftovers tomorrow I'm going to put sheep's cheese on it because honestly it's the weekend so who cares.

I love burnty pizza, same with toast .
I'm starving but can't get off the couch due to pure laziness, I have 2 of the Saturday pizzas that are always recommended on the Aldi thread ,frozen chips and garlic bread, I'll try to haul myself up and throw them in the oven. The red wine has been poured.

Mrs G and Ms G had a cheapo four cheese pizza and chips this evening. They didn't want garlic bread with it.:( But sure they devoured it anyway. My last bit of spicy beef stir fry is close. Rice and chips with it. Another glass of beer before it. Really trying to believe I'm in a pub and getting a takeaway on the way home.

Must prep some for next weekend to have in a debauched frenzy and buy some of that nutritionally devoid iceberg lettuce for authenticity. I don't know how to shave off bits of lamb in the requisite way, but we'll figure out something. :D

I just read the ingredients in Asda’s kebab meat (600g). Basically 60% chicken 20% each of beef and lamb.

After the spice of the last few days its back to traditional. Roast chicken dinner, mashed spuds, peas, turnip and carrot mash, croquettes and chicken gravy. Gonna break up the last of the Aldi mini choc chip muffins and have chocolate ice cream on top.

A nice cold bottle of Heineken from the fridge, thinking a toasted ham cheese tomato and onion sandwich for a little snack in a while.

I generally stock up on different brands when doing the big shop, this week 'tis Walkers cheese and onion although I actually prefer the Walkers salt and vinegar.

Our water supply poisoned us so it's been bananas, rice, apples and toast all day. Chanced a bit of baked chicken and plain mash for dinner but the OH is worse now.

    Feck Irish Water.

Irish water said they were just causally flushing the mains supply today but over the weekend a rake of people in my area got badly sick.

We've got the camomile tea but I'll have to remember to get ginger next time, although I badly hope there is no next time...

Chicken burger, chips and beans with a cold can of Woodgate Irish Cider.

Picked up the wrong shagging chocolate donuts in Lidl and I was 3/4's way through mine before it dawned on me there was no gooey bit. Life can be cruel some times.
