Best around with the vouchers, slim pickings the last few weeks.

The budget is Tuesday week, no idea if specific off-licence alcohol price increases are on the cards.

Edit..my Ulster Bank rewards is giving €5 off €50 spend in Dunnes, additional save.

The publicans will riot if there is an excise hike!!

It would be a million times better than this ridiculous MUP idea though, where the retailer gets the vast majority of the profit instead of going into much needed tax.

I saw boxes of Coors in Lidl the other day but didn't check price, their bottles are usually on offer. Looked to be big boxes too. Sorry if this isn't very informative but you can go in and check if you have time.

That is ****in serious value. It retails at €45. On sale regularly at €40 and I’ve bought 2 bottles recently in o briens for €35 so €32 is just taking the piss.

For anyone concerned about it based on old school yellow label powers of old, three swallow is on a completely different level. Brilliant whiskey.

And with the €5 off €35 spend vouchers currently in the Real Rewards app, you'd be getting it for less then €28!

Do you mean stocking up prior to Halloween sales or during those sales?
    Curious as to why?

I was in Lidl the other day.
I always check the beer section to see if there any bargains or anything new.

I found cans of Ozujskp beer. 500ml 5%.
It is from Croatia and is quite nice.
    Not a bargain as it's €1.96 a can.

6 x 330ml cans of Bira Moretii in Tesco for €9.00.

Not really a bargain I suppose but it's the gear from Italy and not the UK. Much nicer from a can too I might add.

    70cl Smirnoff 19.67 in Supervalu :)

Around the same in Lidl, it was going for 17 euro there not so long ago but now that the pubs are more or less closed again for three weeks at least I'd say the bargains will be scarce in the shops.
