Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The girl who announced her grandfather has been given 24 hours to live?

HE'S GOING TO LIVE. HE'S FINE.

And yes, I know this because of facebook.

I bet she feels like a fukcing moron now. Or she should, at least.

Wonder if she kills him now so she doesn't feel so stupid to all her facebook buddies?

I fúcking hate it when people argue with each other on facebook through their status updates. There was one stage last year where these two girls I'm friends with on it started making updates like "Some people are just cúnts" while the other would say something like "I've had enough of certain people in my life, moving on in the world", all of this would be done with extremely bad grammar too. I probably should have removed them from my friends list at the time, but yano, too much effort and all that

Also hate it when people post the "copy this status" for things like cancer awareness, suicide awareness etc..as if the people reading the updates are really going to take meaning from your status updates....fúcking twats like!

    Rant over :P

    I kid you not
When you carry a Bible... the Devil gets a headache.

When you open it... he collapses.

When he sees you reading it... he faints.

When you sees you living it... he flees.

And just when you're about to repost this by hitting "Share"... he will try to discourage you.

I just defeated him... "Share" this if you in God's army

Three things stand out about this post.

    1. It's f*cking ridiculous

    2. Why does the Devil faint after he collapses?

    3. The person who posted this regularly posts the most nasty whinging crap about "foreigners stealing our benefits" etc, she's not exactly very Godly.

I didn't rant enough on my original post. If I had I would have covered all the angles especially that one.

I have had 2 friends die of cancer suddenly and at a very young age in the last 2 years, a very close friend's boy died of leukemia and my grandfather who practically raised me also when I was young was also hit by cancer and unless I click ''like'' and add this

fucking idiots' post to my Facebook profile then I obviously don't care and am a worthless human being like attending 4 funerals was not enough. What an arrogant moron!

And then there is this awesome piece of wisdom for which she should have her own Dr Phil type show analysing human behaviour plus be a guest star on Crimescene Miami

I am obviously a sociopathic, uncaring, heartless, cruel, namecalling fingerpointer who pushes little old ladies down stairs according to this because I didnt repost. In fact I probably invented a time machine, invented cancer and seeded it 10,000 years ago then returned to the modern world to laugh at the victims. The scientific evidence is there quoted above *bangs head off wall*

I know how you feel. Someone close to me is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, and has a cousin who knows their situation yet continues to post status updates like that (and maybe the exact one you posted earlier), which really upsets them.
I don't know how people can be so clueless as to not realise that these things do no actual good, and might not be looked on favourably by facebook friends of theirs whose lives have been touched by cancer, as most people's have in some way or another.

A friend of mine recently liked this.

Surely whoever created the page would want to get his name right/actually know it in the first place, and do a little more with the page than copy and the paste the first paragraph from their wikipedia page.

I thought it was the official page till I noticed the spelling mistake, then spotted that it says "Did you mean Alec Baldwin?" under his name. Then I clicked on that to go to the official page which has 46,344 people who like it, compared to poor Alex's 380 :D.

Oddly though, the pages are otherwise identical.

i don't think FB ever setup the pages - though you do see wiki a lot with towns etc. - but doubt they do it for celebs/movies or whatever

all you have to do to make a page official is write official on it though, so how do you really know which is which unless they say or have links to it somewhere, a lot more famous people seem to actually use twitter than FB

I too have friends who 'liked' the page. The child was buried only a few hours before that picture was posted by its mother. I found it very sad but when i asked about the story i found out a little more and its not so suprising if you know the story behind it all.

Reading through this i'm more and more tempted to go on and rip the f*ck outta people who post crap on FB, wonder how many i can get to defriend me.

The fact that (as mentioned ^^^^ up there somewhere) it was my birthday i got over 50 happy birthday posts on my wall despite telling most of these people that I'M NOT ON FACEBOOK ANYMORE.

hence the rage boiling over even more now reading through some of these.

Some Americans and even some Canadians regularly post the same ideas and concepts on their Facebooks. I think it could be just a sign of insecurity. Some opinions are impossible to oppose in a popular way therefore all of their American peers are forced to listen to them.

    Some examples below:

    Support the troops

What does that even mean ? Support their goal of getting blown to pieces and killed but don't support them if they are lucky enough to get home ?

    Freedom isn't free

What does that mean either in the context of whats really happening ? I was taught to keep private parts private and sacred. I was brought up decent. Now apparently they can anally rape you with a butt probe as you go through the airport. How the hell is that freedom ? I'd rather take my chances statistically with bombers and die an unviolated man than get raped.

If they were fighting Darth Vader and spamming me day and night with this I would start trying to picture Darth as a misunderstood family man and Luke Skywalker as a very naughty boy lol.

Ahh and theres also those strange redneck and low IQ females who post pictures on their profiles ( a lot of the time of some slutty looking blonde cartoon female) with the words captioned

    ''I'm not just a bitch, I'm The Bitch ''

    Fuck off !!! Please !!!

There's a couple on "my Facebook" that talk to each other though their Facebook statutes.

"had a great weekend darling, I love you so much."

"food luck tomorrow babe xxxx "

You live in the same fcukong house...what are you doing????"

I always found that really annoying. Family members commenting on each other's statuses despite living in the same house. Be better to just should up/down the stairs at each other.
