Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just pouring some chilled vino now to catch up with yiz all and the shenanigans. Mam I love proper onion rings - I can't get them in the chippies out west, (horrible frozen variety) - You are making me hungry for those crispy, battered ones from my hometown -

    Up the Dubs!

    (I don't follow the GAA but I can't deny me roots) :)

I'd say they'd be relatively easy to make......just dip some thickly cut sliced onions in batter and fry in hot oil.....smother with salt and vinegar......God I've missed my calling there I think :D

When I was in Secondary school, my Friday treat was an onion ring and chips. Cost 80 pence. But it wasn't an onion ring, it was an onion burger.:D It was called and onion ring, but resembled something like a batter burger. A big patty of onions and batter. Massive!

How do I quote more than one post?
