The one on floats is a friend's, has recently been restored and converted to Electric power, and I've won the other 2 on E-bay over the last few months, the green one is flyable, just needs a receiver and setting up, the red/gold one hasn't got to Ireland yet, it's in the UK at my parents awaiting our next visit there, no radio or servos in it at the moment.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Not mine but went out with the local club to watch the first test flights of these monsters:

Both weigh in around the 16.5kg mark, require proper certification before they can be freely flow and are huge. The sky crane is 2.3 meters long, 6 blades and really cool sounding elec motors. The other has a 110cc petrol engine and even the pilot is modelled inside it.

Yep I still get out for a casual fly every now and then. I've not gotten deep into it though, just a few PZ warbirds.

Can you fly those anywhere or do you need to go to a model club for them as well?

    .
I'm a member of two flying clubs and have MACI insurance.
But If you own your own land and can safely fly over your land ,
    You could fly them there...
I would encourage people to join a flying club..

    Your up in the city.

    Cheers Sean,
Those tamiya model kits go together nicely. What was the cb 750 like to ride?

    I still remember it well:D ..
I was 17yrs old and only riden 50cc and 100cc motorbikes, scared the $hi7e out of meself:o when a older friend let me have a go of his 740/4..
It was lovely to ride(then) handeld very well,,,,
You can not compare the older bikes to the newer stuff on the road now..
