Finally got home yesterday evening and opened up the phone. It's 100% perfect, 100% original.

Very happy so far. It's a massive step up from my old S4.

Can i ask which model you bought? Was is SD820 or Exynos 8890?

Im looking at buying this one, S7 Edge, but want to make sure of the specs.

According to here, it is dual sim and has the Exynos 8890.
According to the website though, this has the SD820.
    CPU: Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Mine is the Exynos. I'm pretty sure that the SD is only for the US market as it supports some of the LTE bands they only have over there.

Galaxy s7 edge won't charge. I had it charging sporadically a few minutes ago, but now it's doing nothing. It got briefly wet today. Does anyone know if there is a way for me to know if it's water damaged?

Is there any risk to drying it with like a hair dryer or should I just leave it alone?

I thought the S7 was fully waterproof? Surely no reason to use a hairdryer if it dries itself out?

The one you are looking at is the Exynos variant. F/FD is the exynos one while the G-9350 is the Snapdragon variant they are selling.

I would chance it if it was mine but I definitely don't know if it's safe to or not. Only worry would be overheating it and shattering the glass.

I used cold air only. Thanks for the help, you were right, it is fine.

I think that it is time that I upgrade my old S2 so have decided to splash out on an S7 as I have no problem holding on to phones.
Currently with 3 but would prefer to buy the phone outright.
Where would be the best place to buy?
Recently in the thread I am seeing people recommend t-dimension.
Is it reliable or is it worth looking elsewhere?
Also after a brief look I see that in Europe the largest size that you can get is the 32MB one.
Would anyone recommend any other accessories?
    Or any tips in general?

I ordered from t-dimension on Saturday night, still says it processing but i am hopeful it will be delivered this week(UK address)
I think the largest size anywhere is 32GB, it has a micro-sd slot anyways so can beef up the storage that way.
I am investing in a case for the times when i think a night will be messy or etc.
And considering a wireless charger but not sure which one, looking through amazon for a few so might just go by reviews.

    Thanks for the reply.
Do t-dimension deliver to Irish addresses?
    Are they seen as reliable?
I take it that it is possible to pick up a micro-SD card in any brick and mortar electronic shop?

Genuine question - how much have you spent on covers and cases since buying the phone?

You seem to have a new one every week at least.

I bought mine from t-dimension and it all worked out 100%.

Shipped to my home address from the UK. I think they are based in Hong Kong but ship through the UK, so there was no issues with VAT/Customs.

Had a look at that website are they one sole trader or individual sellers like eBay? Also would they allow parcel motel.

Can't answer the sole trader question.

I would imagine they'd have no problem shipping to parcel motel.

Just realising you can just use your Irish address and they ship from Hong kong to uk then onto you? So vat duty shouldn't be an issue?
