Well done scousemouse for getting through work. Sure now it's done and you don't have to worry about it.its crazy all the worries. One thing I'm quiet conscious of is making sure doing the deed doesn't turn into a chore or only having it at the special time of the month!i want to do it because I enjoy but also so it takes the pressure of what ultimately we are trying to achieve. I hope your trip away does you the world of good.

That is so true - we had a chat about that last month as we were tending to leave it until too late when it was more a case of we should, rather than we both really want to. Making an effort not to let that happen this month, it can be hard not to feel the pressure when you know there are only a few very precious days.

im finding this TWW tough! Im only 5 dpo! I have a pinchy feeling on my left side but i think i could be imagining it as i know its a symptom i had first time around! The waiting is killing me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 260 ✭✭Scousemouse83

The tww is a killer! Symptom spotting could drive you mad!
Great time away apart from Dh putting his back out but plenty of cocktails instead of bd. Huge wobble today following another announcement and me being asked about our 'plans' but sure no more crying! I never cry either normally!!
Good luck on the tww those on it

Good luck Jen44, hang in there. It is so hard not to think about symptoms.
Ah sorry to hear that Scouse, you are having a tough time of it in work. Glad to hear the break went well. Fingers crossed for you for the next cycle!

Good here too, just coming into the fertile zone, both quite relaxed about it all as we think we're going to have to go for further tests so not going to put ourselves under any pressure for the next few months.

That's a great way, being relaxed and having a plan.

I'm still waiting around too 10DPO today, I was feeling like we were onto a good one this month as we got our first 'high score' on FF app (yay) but then this morning I had a lot of what I can only describe as brown/rust colour CM (never had anything like this before) but I do usually spot a few days before AF so trying to be realistic here. But there's always a chance right? We have a new plan now and take a 'long' weekend around my fertile days, it's great as totally takes the "we need to do this before work" pressure off:) I'll admit the frustration is starting to get to me now though, this will be out 7th month trying. Going to plan a lot of things this weekend to keep myself distracted!! How is everyone doing?

I think im out this month did a first response test this am 11dpo and bfn! Cant stand the 2ww find it the hardest part ,the not knowing! I nearly always feel better even if i do get af just that i know then either way!

Day 8/9dpo here. Heading away for the long weekend so not going to test until I'm back unless Af shows.
Day 11 could be too early.
I think distraction is the only way in the tww. Hoping the weather lasts feel so much better when the suns shining!!

I'm apparently a week away from my fertile window , I'm very emotional and weepy today. :o oh alot of weekends away i love it. Id love a weekend away , but with new house its off the cards for now. I like the idea of a long weekend around fertile time , sounds so nice :) Im so excited for this month of trying , I'm taking pregnacare fertility or something like that. Maybe its a mix of them and the sunshine.

My doctor told me last time I was pregnant to get folic acid vit d and omega 3 so that's what I take it works out cheap as you can buy tesco own brand of that! 12 dpo today and another bfn!! I have a wedding down in Clare tmw just me and the hubby Lo is going to her nana! So I think I'll do one more first response tmw and if it's another bfn I'll take it at that and drink as normal at the wedding! It would have been hard enough to hide not drinking so I don't want to go through all that and have people guessing when I'm more then likely not pregnant! I got a faint positive at 10 dpo first time around so if there's noting tmw at day 13 I would say in defo out!! I have learned a valuable lesson about testing early this month I will try my hardest to not turn into this crazy lady next month!!

BFN this morning at 11dpo, still clinging on to hope but might just buy a bottle of wine in case :P
I had the weirdest chart this month after ovulation my temp rose and just stayed in a straight line except for a big dip on 7dpo (of course I'm over analysing that) normally goes up and up so I'm wondering what that is about...

I completely agree Jen44 it's the not knowing that is killer you just want to get on with it! The weather is looking fab this weekend though so will be making sure to get out and enjoy that!

Oh gosh, that's hard not to get your hopes up with that one. 11 days is very early so hopefully that chart is a good sign and you'll be the bfp in a few days! I find the first week past ovulation ok but then it's becomes very hard, I start scrutinizing my chart like a mad woman! My luteal phase is only around 10/11 days so I guess at least I'm not tortured for too long before AF arrives and rains on my parade!

I'm all over the place!! I'm on day 14 of my cycle after a mammoth 51 day cycle and I've serious cramping today, very much like period pains, and some red spotting. Could I be getting my period again after only 14 days??!!!!!
I'm soooo confused and frustrated 😀

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 455 ✭✭Jen44

Ah stop girls I'm the feckin same just got my period three days early so at least that clears up the pregnancy guessing!! However it now means no sex all weekend !! Was looking forward to a nice romantic weekend at the wedding!! You can't win!!!!
