I'm in a very meh kind of mood. I am waiting on AF to arrive. I just know nothing happened this month. Although going by cm , we did all we could. I think I might try ovulation sticks for next month.

Ah I know how you feel, keep the chin up though - you never know until AF arrives!

I didn't know you could get more than one LH surge! Might explain why I was getting a peak on the CB opk's so early but don't actually think I was ovulating then. Good to know!

I believe you can, I've read about it but never experienced it before myself but it's the only explaination for me this month. Flashing smilies for me today even tho a positive on Tesco 2 days ago, followed by a negative on Sunday. Think you can have a surge that doesn't result in ovulation as well as one that does in the same month.

Update. Nothing seen on scan too early but uterine thickness borderline. Bloods done today and then repeats wednesday. More than likely early miscarriage just hoping its not ectopic!

Is there a chance that you are still pregnant? How are you feeling?

I'll know with the hcg on wed if it doubles. But my womb lining is low, and the lack of symptoms are also not a good sign. I don't feel like I'm pregnant if that makes sense. Plus the bleeding was heavy.

Dont know whats going on with me CD 15 and no positive OPK yet. Still doing the deed and hoping im just going to ovulate a little later. My cycle was 33 days last month so could be. Its my third month off the pill but first using opk's so just hoping i have been ovulating. Using clear blue digitals with first morning urine

I'm on CD 20 and flashing smilies last 3 days, usually ovulate day 17-18 or so, maybe earlier some months. Don't know what's going on other than o was on antibiotics and strong pain killers last week, unless that's delayed things.

You're better off not using first morning urine with the OPKs (even though clear blue say you should for some reason). Every other OPK I've ever seen says specifically not to use FMU. Personally I've gotten a negative with first urine and then a positive about 3 hours later.

Hi ladies, here to have a moan. 11 dpo and bfn this morning plus feel like AF is not far off. Temp has dropped a bit too so I'd say I'm out. Really hoped this was our month was so optimistic. OH was so hopeful too so feel like I'm letting him down :(

11 dpo is still very early. Try again at 14 dpo and it will be more definitive. Good luck!

    Hey guys
Thanks so much for the comments. Feeling a bit more normal today just waiting for Af so my body gets back to normal.
11dpi is early and your not responsible. I said the same thing at the weekend and the midwife ate me. Said women carry too much of the burden and we do all the leg work! She's right!

I stated using tesco opks after 9 days of flashing smileys found the tesco ones grand and far cheaper

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, must have been such a shock.
Thanks - I know, just feeling very sorry for myself today.

A huge shock from one extreme to the other. Midwives were fab but very strange to be surrounded by happiness and babies when your getting bad news.
It's so hard definitely wait a few more days 11dpo is early days.

Could never understand why the CB recommend FMU- the LH hormone only surges to the level required for detection between 10am and 2pm in about 90% of women! (Now I wasnt one of the 90% and tended to get my surge, if at all, in the middle of the night, but I'm started to think I'm a bit of a weirdo generally when it comes to reproduction!)

A flashing smilie again this morn :(

Try doing the test around lunchtime instead. Also I found those ones with the flashing smileys horribly confusing and not worth the effort. The other CB ones that just have either a smiley or nothing were much less confusing.

Great to hear your doing better Scouse! But look at the positive side you can conceive. That is a big plus! I know a number of people who miscarried their first pregnancy and went on to have ft 2nd pregnancies shortly after! Im currently 8 days late but it would have to be a miracle pregnancy so think my cycle has just decided to go out of whack!

Have just done another one now after work and it's still flashing. It's the first time this has happened since I stated using them. So annoying and kinda worrying.

This process brings a whole new meaning to neurosis and worry! It must be difficult and hard not to worry that the same could happen next time but it is good that you conceived so fingers crossed for you.
