Giant? I think you are getting confused with Jack and the Beanstalk.

I think Cabaal is pointing out that people who believe in the most common God concept around here get their story a little mixed up with fairy tales, eh.

No one believes in this fake religion FSM, it's a form of satire by atheists to mock and bash religious people.

3000 "gods" only difference between you and me is I don't believe in any of them but you don't believe in 2,999 of them.

Why is your "god" the right one? What about all of the others and what can you say/do to disprove that they don't exist?

Fixed your post........I set up a new religion over lunch!

Going to use a pink cross as our symbol so others know what my beliefs are.

    Who's with me?

If this is true then why would he send me to hell for not believing in him?

    He will?

No!! Why should I? Where is the proof he loves me unconditionally?

He sent his Son Jesus to Earth to preach about his love for you.

You're the one who supposedly knows what he thinks, you tell us. All we have to go on is this Bible thing. Do you believe in the Bible?

Atheists must live terribly boring miserable hopeless lives.

Does that even sound convincing to you as a proof of unconditional love? Be honest, now.

Why the angst? Do you know me personally? Have I ever done something bad on you previuosly?

    Tone down the hostility. :)

I have no idea if God will send you, I or anyone to Hell.

Actually I live a very fulfilling life,
Don't waste my time waiting for the world to end and make the most of my life right now, rather then waiting around for a "heavenly afterlife".

I'd argue that Christians live a very miserable life, they believe people are born sinful and constantly have to ask for forgiveness throughout their life even if they've done no wrong.

Believing a baby needs to be cleansed is pretty odd,

Not only that, but why is the "right one", as depicted in the old testament; a jealous, violent, misogynistic, vengeful, genocidal monster? Yet 100cent, you insist he loves us. I call <snip>.

Demanding tones will be ignored. :)

As an unworthy sinner, I am in continual awe of the eternal mercy God shows me and have no idea how you or I will be judged when the time comes.

Given the eternal mercy Our Lord show me on a daily basis, I'd not make any pronouncements of such magnitude.

Nice moving of the goalposts. You said you didn't know whether anyone would be sent to Hell, and I sent you Bible verses, and you can't even man up and say you believe in the Bible. What kind of Christian are you?

He only does special guest appearances these days, usually on a slice of toast.

A very flawed one. But I continue to strive to be a good Catholic.

"judge not, that you be judged.
"for with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
"And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?" (Matthew 7;1-3)

Careful now, don't wanna to piss off your god do you?

So who would be sent to hell in your mind? Who would be deserving of eternal torture?

But if "god" loves us all unconditionally then there wouldn't be a hell would there because he would take everyone into his magical Kingdom regardless of how they lived their lives.

But isn't it taught that you must pray to this "god" and beg his forgiveness and live by his rules?

What about the lack of "mercy" your god shows for.....oh I don't know....a baby born with the effects of the Zika Virus?

Or how about the 230,000–280,000 dead back in 2004 due to one of the acts performed by your god? The day after his sons birthday celebrations no less. Was it because these people didn't pray enough?

Christians and Christianity deserve everything they get. As do Jews, Muslims, hindus and every other religion.

You can believe whatever you want, but dont expect people not to make fun of you on here when you start talking about your imaginary friends.

If I came on here talking about scientology, fairys, leprechauns or other nonsense, I'd expect people to take the mick. So why should Christianity be given any special treatment. GROW UP and stop arguing over who's magic friend is best.

Ho could anyone even attempt to psycho-analyse the eternal, ever present Lord?
