    Have no vested interest here as I won't be leaving Lazio (I passed up chances to apply for my beloved Man U and Roma! So........ here for good!)


    Then current system, tbh I think it's badly in need of an overhaul. There was talk of this before but nothing was followed up....


    With the new season rapidly approaching this is something we should be looking at changing for next season. I'm on chat an awful lot and chat to almost everyone that is on! It seems to me that a lot of people don't like the current system...


    Any thoughts??

    Brought the very topic up on this thread couple of weeks ago to minimal reply!
    Needs to change to make allowances for managers that have been here couple of years but can't improve their ranking because it's an impossibility to make up the points on managers that have been here since league began.

    I tink the manager ranking should stay but you should take a second metric into consideration when deciding who gets first dibs on any given gig. What that second metric should be I DO NOT KNOW.

    1. Total games managed at CURRENT club (NOT OVERALL GAMES MANAGED!!!!, shows current level of commitment to the game)

    2. Current league position (incentive to push on up the divisions to land a big gig?)

    Pick and choose a combo of the above, at the moment someone can leave for months and come back and nab a big club while someone working Thierry ass off lower down the leagues that deserve that club don't get it... we really need to look after the lads putting in the work tbh...

    ON your last point, this is just not true. I left Milan and when I came back my rating was in the toilet. So it's not the case that you they can just work Thierry ass off and swan back into a good gig mate ...

    That said I would take the manager ranking along with say the total games managed above and the current league position. # of boards posts and transfers done are too abritrary and easy to falsely increase, I would say ...

    Yeah the number of posts on the boards thread is a good shout man. Might get it going again cause it's pretty quiet for a while now. Obviously not the sole criteria but good outside the box thinking!

    Yeah I think that a number of factors should be taken into consideration to show that the right person (the ones putting in the most work) gets first shout...

    Since its a boards GW why not include boards posts! Hey, by-product might be more activity on the thread!

    Nah the arse dropped out of it mate, was a big struggle to get it up from 33 (where it was) to 16 (where it is now). It's been very hard but I have somehow achieved it by ... erm being stuck in the relegation zone pretty much all season (until a couple of weeks ago) ...
