Not sure how reliable the source is but this article is saying May 6th for Amazon and Three UK .

    http://www.mnrdaily.com/article/htc-10-release-date-official-uk-shipping-to-begin-may-6-for-both-three-uk-and-amazon-uk/10164.htm

The date was the 6th with Amazon up till yesterday but they have now said they won't have any stock at all till the 18th.

I think 3UK may get it early though with their deal.

Finally got a callback from HTC. Basically told me my options are leave it as it is, or put through a new order and lose my place in the queue and the 10% off.

Picked mine up today. It cost a little more than 550, but at the checkout they included about 10 of uber credit and a Ted Lapidis lady's watch... Don't know why... But I'm not complaining.

From memory, he's somewhere like Dubai.

Yeah, Dubai. From my M9 this is just so much more refined. Fingerprint scanner is excellent... Something I've always had problems with in the past... The phone actually feels slimmer than the M9, by allot, even though its actually thicker. Screen real-estate feels allot more. So far so good.

How are you finding the camera and audio quality?

Sound is fine, I used it in the car last night as I hadn't yet set up Bluetooth audio... Sounded grand.

    Haven't used the camera yet

How do you get the M10 for 550 euros from Dubai?

I'm assuming you live there, then walk into a store :pac:

So considering HTC supposedly started shipping pre-orders today, I haven't found any evidence online that they have actually shipped any.

A couple of other UK based companies have shipped and users got their 10's today, which obviously means a lot of unhappy people who pre-ordered directly through HTC.

Basil you are genius, thanks. I was actually thinking that one perhaps might be able to get one cheaper online somehow, i.e. via Dubai.

Anyone who pre-ordered directly through HTC should have got an email last night preparing you for the funds to be taken.

Pretty crap that they're getting units to 3rd party vendors before fulfilling their own retail orders. Customer service and communication are far from their strong suits, it seems.

I'll be in London on Tuesday so hopefully I can just walk into a shop and pick one up.

Just wondering, has anyone that got that e-mail about them preparing to debit your account had anything taken yet? I have a pending debit of €1 from Digital River Ireland.

Got my case in post this morning.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01DAN1T4E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Have to say from looking at it not massively impressed with how dark it is and the build quality. Hopefully it looks better on the phone!

Part of the aerial setup. Unfortunately necessary when you have quality metal construction.

Would have preferred if they put in IR blaster like on previous few devices.

hmmmm, so you think the 3rd parties who order phones in the thousands from HTC are further down their pecking order than a joe blogs who at best will order one phone per year from them.
