Clancy has woke up since he gave the yellow card, pinging Ulster for things he was letting them away with for the previous 20 minutes!

Braindead from Reidy, ruined Scholes' excellent tackle.

Won the yellow card 0-3, that's a plus.

That should please the Ulster supporters. They don't like refs going off script. ;)

Reidy needs a slap on the backside for that one, Scholes did so much and it was hardly red-zone stuff. Wally!

Genuine question because i'm not 100% but does the law not require the ref to be certain (not probable) a try would be scored?

The wording is probable, you can pretty much never be certain a try will be scored.

Is that lineout expert Stuart Barnes telling us which arm to use at the lineout?

Everyone has to do like Maro Itoje cause he's the best ever.

    Clancys an atrocious referee

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,427 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Clancy you moron.

That's a pen and probably a yellow considering amount Ulster have been giving away.

I genuinely have no ****ing clue what he was banging on about

Clear high tackle there and the ref wasnt even going to give it? Right in front of him!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,571 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

This could be going a lot worse...

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

Pass the ball Kearney!!! For once inyour life!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Did Clancy not say 7 offside there, when McGrath was slow to pass?

was an ulster player called offside by the TJ

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,427 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Toner and Triggs have been useless.

    Can't carry, can't tackle can't ruck.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

    Triggs:(

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭A-Train

God Triggs is brutal, killed that with poor hands, just hold the ball going to ground!

Was the TJ. Clancy overruled him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

All that momentum and it ends with a simple knock on in front of the tryline

    Clancy then overruled him.

Said the ball was already out.

Absolutely awful, Triggs dropping it there at the end was mad too, granted the pass from Strauss didn't help him at all.

That shout of "Use it scrum half" pretty much sums up Clancy's first half

Can we get the AR on the pitch instead please?

Clancy overruled a legitimate offside penalty.

Sums up Clancy!!! I am confident that he'll screw Ulster with at least one shocking call in the second half.

Leinster front 5 have been pretty poor so far

Jaysus Shaggy is struggling with the names, he's too excited!!

how do sky still employ shane horgan

Decent enough game. The Ulster wingers need to stop putting in grubber kicks whenever the road ahead is blocked - take contact, and recycle lads.

Ulster haven't got much to show for their efforts, and the match seems to be slowly swinging Leinster's way. If Ulster can't win at home, it's hard to see them making a real run for the Pro 12.

I'll have what Ferris is smoking at half time, he must be watching a completely different match to me?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

The Ulster Folk consist of a wide variety of many fractious tribes and village-dwellers, some reasonably refined, others savage and hostile. Different factions have very different cultures and practices, and may speak different languages. They spend much of their time fighting one another over petty squabbles, aside from the times when they are unified by a Queen-Beyond-the-Wall; as they were under Stephen Ferris.

Murphy on for JVDF, hopefully JVDF isn't badly hurt

Don't think it matters, he was tackled behind his own tryline

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

I think that's a legal challenge from Scholes, but still Clancy should give Scholes about 12 red cards

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

How many penalties before a yellow card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,229 ✭✭✭LeinsterDub

One team dominating a maul. Awh it must of the just fell over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

    No penalty try?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah Leinster, ye can't keep blowing these chances.

    Leinster are a dumb side.

They had all the territory and possession, 5 metres from Ulster's line and they go for a trick play and lose it. Tha's the time when you go to basics and maul from the front.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,229 ✭✭✭LeinsterDub

I'll just stand here at the edge of this maul offside. What's that the ball mine!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Obviously not a chance the ruck hand't formed there before those hands went on. Typical

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Penalty at least anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,792 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

Some joke if we end up with two yellows after Ulster giving away so many penalties.
