What is this near Shannon just now, or is Flightradar24 messing up?

Would residents etc. see any impact from that? Or would it simply disburse without anybody noticing.

As far as I know, it evaporates well before it would fall to the ground.

Owned and operated by Middle East Jet based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Was originally repainted in Shannon so might be back for touch-ups.

Possibly reduced ETOPS. Inbd flight could have had a defect. Thought it might be a pack issue but it wouldn't be at FL410 if that was the case.

Probably Non Etops alright by look of it.reasons could be many.

I'd have thought the crew would be out of hours by now? No?

Would depend on how many crew they operate the flight with and their regulatory duty time limitations.

Flight BA215 /BAW21G Heathrow to Boston Can anyone explain what is happening? Looks as if it is turning back but nearer to Newfoundland?

Poor radar signal is causing this error, they are not turning back, give it maybe 20 minutes and they will be on track again.

At 30 degrees West it was in mid-Atlantic and several hundred miles outside radar coverage. Note the 40W position report here for most recent actual position and time.

Looks like Lufthansa from Shannon has a problem ... lots of circling out at the Atlantic ... or maybe its a test flight ... not sure

Just had a tech issue at the end of 28 as we were about to take off. Probabaly better it happened now than ten seconds later :-)

Couple of go-arounds now. BA Cityflyer & EI203 from MAN. Not sure if weather or other issues.

Edit: BA had flap problem apparently
