Oh, that's big news. Wonder why?

I'm sure Odell will reach out to him and try and get him to come to the Giants :pac:

Genuinely think he was massively helped by the scheme and personel there on that Panthers D. He's a zone corner in a unit that got great pressure with that front four, and had two All Pros at linebacker. If he was asking for ludicrous money, its not too hard to see why Gettlemen might just think, "feck it, not worth it".

In my parents' house, that is strictly Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas Special time, so, not really. After that ends there's probably a Royle Family rerun on somewhere.

Or you get to explain the rules to Dad again.

Oh god not another Royle Family rerun, any sport is watched in ours, Teaching my nephew the rules is what I do, seems to be a packers fan,

Well you're not teaching him right then.

We watch the all Ireland hurling on Christmas day. But I really love when there's American football on the day, really gives you something to look forward to on a day that can often drag on a bit later on.

    This certainly weird...
    http://www.ninersnation.com/2016/4/22/11489592/nick-moody-disappeared-aldon-smith-dui-trial
This is officially getting really weird. Two weeks ago, a Miami judge ordered former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Nick Moody to appear in Santa Clara for Aldon Smith's DUI trial. Moody was reportedly on hand the night of the DUI, and the Santa Clara prosecutor is trying to compel him to testify.

And now, Nick Moody has disappeared.

Moody was scheduled to appear in a Miami courtroom on Friday to assure a judge he would testify. David Ovalle is reporting that Moody did not appear on Friday, and has not responded to emails, texts, and phone calls from Santa Clara and Miami prosecutors. An arrest warrant was issued, and if he is found, he will likely be held in jail and then transported to Santa Clara for Smith's trial.

It is safe to say Nick Moody did not really care to testify against Aldon Smith. I have no idea what this all means, but it is getting seriously weird. I suppose it could be a "don't snitch" kind of thing, but this seems a bit extreme. So crazy.

Apparently Bradford has requested a trade. Eagles still say they are intending to start him next year. He must feel the wind is blowing a different way.

I still think that what the Eagles are CLAIMING is their intention is the best case scenario for all involved. They have a decent and experienced starter, and a new guy to sit and learn that they presumably have faith in for the future. Goff/Wentz gets to sit and learn without going in at the deep end, and obviously Bradford continues as a handsomely paid starter. If he can't take the pressure of having a potential replacement sitting behind him on the bench, he has no business in the game.

Unless he suspects he will end up as backup. But really if he was as good as his paychecks, that wouldn't be an issue either. So he must want to go and be overrated somewhere else. Not sure offhand who would want to take him on board right now.

Not sure what thread to throw this in but Anthony Davis is back, not playing back but Twitter back.

First he tweeted that the 49ers should draft a tackle, then he tweeted that he didn't want to work with the front office or anyone else that doesn't want to win as much as him.

Then he came out with the below tweet, subsequently deleted...

Not sure what he really wants to do at this point, maybe come back and play for someone else but not really going the right way about it!

The Giants are an equal-opportunity employer who don't discriminate by virtue of horrific taste in football teams :)

This is a really interesting article with some offensive lineman, warmack is in there.

But some interesting comments across the boards.

Was reading that last night, definitely an interesting perspective.

    Loved Richburg's answer.

Q: If an offense surrenders five sacks in a game, how many is the fault of the OL.

    Richburg: Seven.

Very interesting alright, felt that there were a few snide comments that if I were a teammate that I wouldn't be too happy about.

I think Richburg is a fine player. Despite what he said around the PFF stuff he really did improve a lot from year 1 to 2. The move to Centre was obviously really beneficial for him. The left side of our line with Flowers, Pugh & Richburg is going to be one of the best in football this year. No idea who will even form part of the right at the moment.

I was waiting for the part where you wore a Browns jersey and were given spare change and welfare.

It's probably best he doesn't, the spare change would likely turn up to be stolen, and the welfare fraudulent. It's the Cleveland way.

I enjoyed that O-lineman article, but the subjects couldn't have across any worse if they had tried.

From that article - they won't listen to anyone unless they've played the position at a high level, they think they are the most valuable players on a team without question, they won't accept anyone's opinion on their play including the likes of PFF because they're not in their film room. Did anyone point out to them that the best head coach in football at the moment started out as a positional coach with no significant playing experience?

They've gone right down in my estimation. A bunch of sour, begrudging, "woe is me" millionaires. Not for me.

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is in reference to Belichick, Arians or Pete Carroll (or possibly countless other head coaches).

Which kind of proves your point... Kyle Long would rather play for Mike Singletary over any of those guys! ;)

Though there are a few interesting points raised, all the same.

Warmack gets a hard time anyway from titans fans, but he's getting a kicking for that interview
