Has there ever been a "palpably unfair act" penalty called in an NFL game, where a touchdown can be scored without crossing the goal line?

The Colts are going to be the 1st team not to have a bye week following playing in London. It was their request as they didn't want their bye that early in the season. They play at home to Da Bears the week after London.

Didn't know teams could request bye weeks? Surely nobody wants an early bye week?

Definitely. The Pats had theirs after week 4 last year; that's 12 games in a row, which is not good for players.

I assume it was facilitated due to playing in London, suits the NFL as well to see how a team copes coming straight back to action without the bye.

Yea it's a crazy situation to be fair, you are barely into rhythm when you have a bye. I would think the ideal situation in between weeks 8 to 10.

These are supposedly the colours that each team will be wearing for Color Rush this year.

No surprises about the Pats one so. Most likely going to be an enhanced version of our red throwback :pac:

I've got a Giants hat done in those Giants colours so it makes sense I guess. What the hell is that design for the Ravens though?! Seems very out of line with everything else!

Probably something like the Terps used over the years:

In my parents' house, that is strictly Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas Special time, so, not really. After that ends there's probably a Royle Family rerun on somewhere.

Or you get to explain the rules to Dad again.

Nah I love it, unlimited drink, great food, no work, a decent few days in the greatest place on earth. I just like for Christmas day games to come on later when everyone is gone to sleep except for the serious drinkers/football fans.

More good news for the Cowgirls, DeMarcus Lawerence is facing a 4 game suspension due to drugs violations. Will be joining Randy Gregory on the sideline for a few weeks.

I'm amazed they didn't learn from the leadership of Greg Hardy last year.
